Placed order through GrubHub for 4 burgers and 1 side of tots. When I arrived I purchased a milkshake with cash and then informed cashier that I was picking up a Grubhub order. Told them my name and then it started. They had not made the food nor could they find a record of them receiving order. I showed them receipt to confirm correct location and then what I thought was the manager started telling employees to tell me to place order again. He would not talk or look at me. When I asked him if he was manager he got rude and informed me he was the owner. I told him that puzzled me and that customer service was awful. I told him I no longer wanted the food and that I would appreciate a refund for my milkshake, which at about ten minutes after purchase they had not yet made it. He got irate and yelled about Grubhub. I tried explaining I had purchased a milkshake upon arrival and wanted a refund for it. No one including owner knew how to do a refund. He opened cash draw, threw money at me and told me not to come back. I told him this was more than I paid and all I wanted was my 7.50 back. He lost his mind. I took 8$ left the rest there and left.

Burgers and onion rings are a rare treat for me, but when I want them, I visit Wayback. Always fresh, hot and delicious! The staff are welcoming and friendly. The convenience of their location is great too and the seating is comfortable, clean and situated for people watching.

Another burger shop that claims to stand out among the rest, though this guy says otherwise. There really isn’t anything special about this place, nor is there a signature burger that everyone goes for. Wait time can be ridiculous depending on how many people there are (one visit took only ten minutes to cook my order, the next lasted an hour to wait, another that made me wait for twenty minutes like any other dine-in wait time). Nothing worth mention that’s so unique about this place, but it is far from the worst.

Touted as an establishment that is suppose to provide a superior quality burger, Wayback Burger underperformed. Firstly, the taste was bland. Both the classic and their bacon burger were, in a sense, boring. Nothing really stood out and distinguished them from, say, a burger at McDonalds. They were also on the greasier side. Although the ingredients appears higher in quality, I don’t think that justifies the price markup.
