As you can see I went completely ballistic on my Buffalo Chicken Sandwich from Wayback burgers in Bryan Texas. I couldn’t even wait to eat it so hence the carnage in the attached photo. Lovely atmosphere and staff. I will strike again.

I’ve seen Wayback Burgers in a couple of places but decided to try it during our vacation in College Station. We ordered our food online and picked it up at the designated time that was texted to us. By the time we received and ate our food, it was soggy and fairly cold.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these burgers. The classic double with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, and grilled onions was super juicy and so delicious! I’d definitely recommend it to someone looking for a quick bite to eat. You can order ahead of time to make for a quick pickup.

Love this place- it’s definitely one of my go to burgers when I’m craving more of a specialty burger. I always ask for grilled items and extra sauces and they always make it just right. I know it takes a little longer to make sometimes, but they are literally making it after you order it. Everything is fresh. Super recommend!

Tried this place a few times and each time was bad. Not very tasty and staff seems distraught. Last time I was here I placed an order for pickup, 2 burgers and a chicken sandwhich. The chicken sandwhich was burnt, burnt black to charcoal. I returned to the store and the owner was on site. He thought I was joking and then saw the food. He apologized and said my order would be refunded. It’s been over a month and I haven’t been refunded and the new chicken sandwhich was still over cooked but at least edible.

First point i will make. This was a google pick. Food was SPOT ON AND GOOD! fast food this isn’t but DEFINITELY worth the wait. I walked in and was greeted by the owners young son who did his absolute best to make sure i was happy with my order. Classic Burger and a drink was my order.

This was our second trip to a way back burgers. The first time we went we loved it the burgers had good sized patties and everything was amazing. The second trip was nothing compared to the first. Our hamburger patties were so thin that two patties did not even make up the size of one regular Patty as pictured. The double bacon burger was so thin that we had to take it apart to make sure that everything was on there. And the O-rings that came with it we’re so sparse. For the amount of money that you pay for that meal and to only get about eight fries and five onion rings was ridiculous. The chicken tenders were small but when they came out they were not crispy at all the batter was very mushy-like and dry. Not to mention a milkshake cost just as much as a meal at $7. I understand the kitchen is at the register but when the employees talk as loud as they do you can hear every single word while you’re trying to sit down and have your meal. The mango lime juice was so watered down that you could not taste any flavor. We paid $21 for milk shakes that were eh and $40 for 2 adult and 1 kids meal. That is ridiculous. Just for price comparison a regular four piece chicken tender cost the same amount as a kids to piece chicken tender , Do better!

First time here The lady who took my order was especially Patient her name was Ashley she helped me put together the best burger ive had in a while and the shake was to die for!!! The owner was present and attentive to customers as well as helping on the Grill to ensure speedy service. Overall the the wait wasnt long. I wouldnt call this a fast food restaurant at all definitely Quality over quantity i enjoyed my visit will be back for sure with friends and family
