Everything was pretty good. Burgers and fries are fresh, and pretty tasty. Not seasoning really, so it could be a plus or a minus depending on what you like. Not huge burgers. Husband especially liked his tots. Very similar in my opinion to 5guys.

Food is inedible. Especially the fries. They were extremely undercooked, soggy, and cold. The Ranch dressing was hotter than the food and absolutely disgusting. Tastes like hot vinegar! Chicken tenders not crispy and also cold. Will not be ordering ever again.

I will not return to this place ever again . I walked in and there was a family eating and a man waiting on his food. There were three young guys working, one on the grill , one making the to go order and one making shakes. The guy making shakes was next to the register I was standing in front of. I was never greeted, I was never told to give them a second, and the guy making the shakes, made eye contact with me twice. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had here and I will not be returning if these guys are going to treat customers like that. I don’t know if it was the color of my skin or what, but this was unacceptable. I stood there for over five minutes as well before I just walked out. They never told me to come back or anything. Ridiculous!

I’m disappointed with the quality of their food. Can see they are doing a “good enough” job. I asked for grilled onion in my burger and they put in regular raw onions that has not been grilled. Also I asked for cheese fries and they slabbed couple slices of American cheese on top of fries. Really???

After much debate, my wife and I decided to give this place a try even though she is not as into hamburgers as I am. She ordered the double bacon burger with a regular chili cheese fries, while I ordered the ever popular rodeo burger and regular chili cheese fries. First, we will talk about the fries. They were pretty good and we could have shared one regular order because it was pretty big. I wasn’t overly impressed with my rodeo burger. For being so popular, I would say it’s average at best. My wife in the other hand thoroughly enjoyed her burger. She said the way that it was put together just made all the flavors taste perfect. Afterwards she said that maybe she was just waiting for the right burger and that was it. She let me have a bite of her burger and I have to admit, it was delicious. The next time we are in Huntsville, she might just want another one.

This place is amazing!!! The beef patties are not frozen and instead fresh out on the grill. You can watch them Cooke the patties. And then they come out so good. When you bite onto to the burger, you find it so juicy tasty! So worth every penny. The milkshakes are to die for!!!! Really recommend this place!

I had to ask about the rodeo burger (not on the menu for some reason?) and for about 5 dollars for a single patty cooked fresh, it was a good deal for a decent tasting burger. I also got Mac and cheese bites which were a little pricey but tasty. My third item was an oreo milkshake, but it rang up for a higher price than on the menu, and it was only like 85 percent full (and tasted burnt somehow, I didn’t finish it). It costed more than the burger so that was a bummer. I’m glad I tried the food here, but all in all I spent 15 dollars for these three items for myself and I think that was a bit overpriced. I think you should come here and try because it may be your cup of tea, but I wish I’d gone to five guys across the street for this price.

This was my first visit to Wayback burgers. I guess I don’t understand what the attraction is. The bun was cold, the cheese wasn’t melted, the tots tasted like they were cooked in funky oil. Not a very good experience.
