Can I say that some of these employees have the worst attitude! I was going to literally rate this place a 1 star if it wasn’t for one associate in particular.

Unfathomably terrible. Got there at 12 PM, they’re out of all food except avocado toast and bacon. How is that possible at a 24 hour store? And naturally, the staff were absolutely nasty to me when I asked about other food options. I genuinely don’t understand how a store that serves primarily as a foodservice establishment, can be out of food. Definitely do not waste your time here.

I work real close to here and go here for breakfast/lunch almost every day. My food is always made quickly and is very tasty. Service and atmosphere is what you’d expect from a convenience store. I think all the negative reviews say more about the local community than about the store or the staff. Chevy Chase, Spring Valley, etc. are mostly populated with ultra-affluent but grumpy Boomers who claim to be Democrats but will only vote for politicians who keep their taxes low and their property values high. The student body of American University is 99% entitled white kids from New England who didn’t have the grades to get into Georgetown. Don’t take my word for it; you can Google “racist history Chevy Chase” or “American University racial incidents.” This place is almost entirely staffed by people of color and it’s no coincidence this place is badly reviewed as a result. As long as you’re not fussy, spoiled, and know how to work a touch screen, this location is great.

This location needs a lot of improvement. No fresh coffee out and ready in the mornings, and the same can be said for sizzlies and other to go sandwiches. I’ve come in several days in a row in the morning and it’s always the same with coffee not being out and customers waiting for the empty coffee jugs to be replaced.

Don’t go there with Cash. You have to hunt for a cashier and when you find one they clearly don’t want to be there. I’m not sure if the young lady’s name was Patience or if that was a quote on her shirt but I paid with cash and she told me my change would come out the dispenser but none came out. When I told her no change came out, she shrugged her shoulders and started ringing up the lady behind me. Bless her heart but clearly that’s a lack of training and just hiring anybody without a thorough process. Do better.

Let me start by saying I love Wawa. I live near another one and I just adore it. This location, however, is absolutely awful. Every single order has been messed up, missing items, or just plain wrong. It’s super disappointing. I hope they can improve!

Terrible customer service. Some of the staff have a big attitude problem. Bad vibes. Sometimes, they won’t even talk to you at all. It’s just weird. You should avoid this WaWa if you can.

This is absolutely the worst WAWA I’ve ever visited, their attitude drips of “I’d rather be anywhere else”, if you asj a question you’ll get “I don’t know” and a vacant scare.
