Alright…We have been looking forward to visiting Wave on Lake Conroe for a long time. It’s a bit further from us than other spots on the water, so we always put it off until today. Maybe it was just a bad day/start, but we will never return.

Here’s another really cool spot on Lake Conroe. The atmosphere is great, they have a pool, super-friendly staff that will bring drinks and food to the pool area. Kids ARE allowed to swim here, unlike some other local spots, and they had live music the weekend I went. They seemed like the kitchen was a little short staffed bc the food took forever (but it was the weekend and really busy so idk). My waitress kinda messed up my order but stuff happens, Tab was $103 including the tip for me and two kids. Kinda pricey, but not too bad. We’ll definitely be back!

Nice place to grab a drink and eat. You can swim for free if you open up a tab. It is a Lil dated and needs some maintenance. However, if your looking to beat the hear and be by the lake it is a great option.

Love this place. First time here. Service was excellent, very tentative even while they had a party of 30 come in. Beautiful sunset, wonderful weather, cold beer. Nothing better than this.

I was really hoping for good things considering the reviews. Maybe those people were drunk when they posted? The food was OK, just standard, nothing amazing. The waitress serving us was nice enough, though, but she took my drink back twice as the bar staff hadn’t dressed it as asked. We sat inside by the window as none of the outdoor tables had sun umbrellas, and the sun was just starting to go down, therefore it was really bright. We opted to sit inside by the windows to get a view of the lake, I wasn’t sure it was a restaurant when we walked in, I thought it was the pool bar, the window were filthy and the ledges covered in flies. After we ate, we went for a walk, and boy, does that deck need some taking care of! Rotting boards, even the outdoor cabanas were held up together with winced rope. The whole outside gave off a real tacky vibe. It’s a shame as the location is great, but this place needs a real cash injection.

Awesome food and awesome service! Had a wonderful salmon dish here and just couldn’t believe how tasty it was. Their bar also has an Icee machine which I thought was very unique. Their pool setup was really cool, it’s a bit too far in to fall to use but I’m sure during the summer this is the spot to be!

It takes a lot for me to leave a dissatisfied review. We arrived at about 8 pm on a Saturday. The hostess stand had someone sitting there, but she said she doesn’t work there enough to help us. So another lady asked if we had been helped and seats us. She is running around taking care of everything. We asked for a better view of the sunset, and we were told 2 people aren’t allowed to sit at a 4-person table. There were plenty available. Our server was friendly and took our drink and food order. About 15 minutes later, everyone is scrambling and pulling all of the tables out of the bar because of a backed up pipe in the bathroom. All the bar customers had to come outside. The employees were cursing, and some customers were very rowdy. It’s not a relaxing atmosphere. We asked if the kitchen was affected by the pipes, and they said no, but this happens all the time…?? So fix it? The bathroom and bar pipes back up. We start to feel like we don’t want to eat any food here. So, we tell our waitress, we are really sorry that we already ordered, left her double what the drink cost and left. If this is always an issue, we didn’t want to risk getting sick. We came here when it first opened and didn’t have any issues. This is unfortunate because the sunsets here are incredible.

We got the nachos for the appetizer. It was so big and piled high. It was good. My husband got the spaghetti and meatballs. He said it was good not not great. I got the burger work the egg on it. It was okay but over cooked. The best part was our waiter Ben. He was so nice and friendly. He checked on us often and always had refills for us. The view of the lake is awesome.
