I do not recommend buying anything from the take out fridge. I got deviled eggs from there tonight and when I got home and opened the container they were slimy and had mold growing on them. The staff needs to pay more attention to food safety with the fridge items because this can make people sick. Very unappetizing!

If you’re looking for the best little sandwich and chicken place this is it! Fried chicken was on point and their cold cut Italian was satisfying!

Food is great and always fresh. Typical carry out place so don’t expect much space if you are bringing more than 4 people but they have a nice outside seating area. Macaroni salad is the bomb.

Great food. Known for their chicken, their steak and cheese is awesome! Did I mention the peanut butter pie?

Love this place. Great when traveling especially if it’s a nice day as there is not a lot of indoor seating. But travelers with pets makes it a nice stop.

Delicious subs! The Italian Cold Cut was awesome and loaded with meats and toppings. One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had!

Went in to order three sandwiches and some fried chicken. The lady at the counter was incredibly rude during the ordering process. Her entire body language and tone of voice was as if I was wasting her time. She was friendly to some of the customers that she knew, but not to me. There was a gentleman who ordered while we were waiting, and they got into a disagreement about a nickname for a particular part of a chicken. She showed impatience. As for the food, they were mediocre. I would never go back to this restaurant.

Wow… I used to really enjoy this place; however. Don’t eat there within the last hour of closing. The chicken was so dried out that my dog walked away. Was great during day . Night time, not so much… waste of money going to get more food to eat.

Their fried chicken is really good, so is their fried chicken tenders although tenders may be store bought, homemade mashed potatoes and gravy, and peanut butter pie. The peanut butter pie was very creamy but just too sweet for one person to finish. The owners are very friendly but they have a cashier that seems to have an attitude and it can dampen the entire experience. They are not prepared to handle more than one customer at a time so it is best to call ahead and place your order. They do have several tables in the store and several tables outside. All meals are served in styrofoam containers. It is what it advertises, “carry-out” and rated accordingly. Call ahead to order your good food, come in, purchase and walk out with it.

I had almost resigned myself to eating dinner at a franchise when I stumbled upon this gem of a place. It’s a small, humble restaurant that you can tell is loved by its people. The fried chicken hit the spot and the peanut butter pie was silky smooth.
