Delightful atmosphere for Saturday morning brunch! Delicious foods, great service, friendly staff. Take a few minutes to walk through the self-guided mill tour while you’re here.

Had a phenomenal meal here! Great service too. The croissant for the BLAT was delicious and the potato pancakes were SO good! Definitely would come back when I’m in the area again.

This is by far the best French toast I’ve ever had! The service was nice. And the prices were reasonable. I will be definitely be coming back. If you happen to be in the area I recommend checking it out.

We enjoyed a late lunch and we were able to sit outside and enjoy the sound of the water. Vegetarian/vegan options available for our party of 6. Nice place, different food options, good service.

Nice place for an afternoon bite. Four of us, all eating the vegan choices – which were limited but good. Lattes come in cute but not easy to drink from glass cups; smallish for a latte. Ginger ale was great. Coffee was good. Wrap was described as having avocado but it did not. Asked if wanted spicy – YES! but not at all spicy.

Excellent coffees and bakery! Got to do a self guided tour of the waterwheel operation. Beautiful wood structure with simplistic analog operations that were highly functional and used simple water flow with gravity for operation. I would love to have seen it in the days of operation.

A cozy, quaint eatery that does well to use the charm of the Poconos and old Americana as a strength. I came here for Brunch, and had an omelet packed with brie, sun dried tomatoes, and spinach; it was filling and satisfying. While the dining space is limited it only took twenty minutes for my group of five to get a seat.

We had the pleasure of dining here while in town. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were all very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the salmon special and the vegan curry. Both ordered a local cider which was also fantastic. We also enjoyed a breakfast and lunch on separate occasions both of which were good as well. For lunch I definitely recommend the vegan tofu wrap (spicy)…so good! There is an old functioning waterwheel that the restaurant is built around. Very cool piece of history. They also sell baked goods and T-shirt’s. If planning a dinner visit reservations are recommended as they fill up quickly. Thank you!

My family stopped here in hopes to enjoy some dessert and coffee. We took photos of the place beforehand to share with family and friends because we thought it was so cute. There were all empty tables outside so we requested to sit outside on this beautiful Thursday. The employee stated that we couldn’t sit outside because they wanted to save those tables for anyone who would rather have dinner. We were so shocked they denied us to sit outside so we left and called the manager to let them know what happened. Unfortunately, the manager stood by what the employee had said to us. We drove by again about a half hour later and there were still all empty seats outside. Coffee and dessert doesn’t take much time, we would’ve been gone by then. In my opinion, this is not how you manage a restaurant. They were extremely rude and we felt humiliated. They should have been focused on the customers that they actually had there rather than potential dinner customers that weren’t even there. We will not be returning and I do not recommend this place.

Hosted my daughter’s baby shower at The Waterwheel Cafe. Cozy, rustic environment with great service and delicious food. Nancie and her team created a fabulous brunch which included gluten free options. Her attention to detail with the presentation of food was impeccable. Darren was so accommodating for any needs we had and the waitresses were amazing!! Would definitely book my next event here and plan to have brunch in the cafe more often.
