Should have trusted trip advisor. Deep fried buffet left on a boiling steam table long past the point of turning to rubberized flavorless leftovers. Microwaved shrimp and fries from Walmart would have been better. Staff was nice and the sweet tea was authentic. It might be years before my wife lets me choose a restaurant again.

Not my favorite place. Second time I’ve been here. Can’t say it was good. Mac and cheese had no taste. I’ve never been to jail but if I have I’m sure thier Mac and cheese would be the same. Biscuits are out of a can. So that’s a bummer. Over priced for what you get on the buffet. Maybe the grill is better. On a positive note the fried chicken and the Coke was good.

The place seems a little out of the way but food is great. It had a buffet with some of the best fried shrimp I’ve ever eaten. They have some pretty good burgers as well. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the atmosphere felt more like a Chinese buffet restaurant than a seafood place.

Food was awesome, very good atmosphere. Music was great! It was almost like my playlist was playing off my phone. My steak, grilled shrimp and baked potatoe was deliciously out of this world! My family thoroughly enjoyed the place and the meal. Another great family memory made and will be remembered for years to come. Thank you Waters Edge!

Enjoyed the food and this was my first time visiting here. Waitresses were very courteous and pleasant. Italian food is really good. Price is good for the food available. I would recommend this place as a great place for casual dining. Loved it!

We have been vacationing at the Isle of Palms for 26 years and have dined at Waters Edge and/or Ronnies at least once, sometimes twice each trip. Tonight we were there and it was an absolute nightmare. The minute we walked in the hostess, a young girl with dirty, long, blond hair wearing an olive green dress with short brown boots and gray socks greeted us horribly. No hello or smile, just a crappy attitude. She locked her eyes on my daughter who is very pretty, and was unbelievably rude to her and the other four of us in our party. My daughter asked her if we could have a table by the window and she rolled her eyes at her and said we would have to wait at least an hour then sat us in the noisy bar. I could see the hostess from where we were sitting and she stared at us and gave us horrible looks throughout the whole time we were there, even talking about us to the other hostess. We were a party of five, ordered appetizers, two cocktails, salads, tuna and filets. Our waitress wasn’t at all friendly either. She became much friendlier when she handed us the check hoping we would leave her a big, fat tip. You used to be better than this Waters Edge!! We’re done with you.

$20/person fried seafood buffet with salad. Very friendly service and the waiter kept our drinks full. Bathroom cleanliness exceeded my expectations as well.The stuffed crab had a overpowering celery taste. Wasnt very good at all. Corn on the cobb and green beens were ok, mac & cheese was soupy and nasty. Baked potato was pretty good and I hear the salad is too. I feel the buffet is a tad overpriced considering not everything was as good or fresh as i expected. The food could have stood to be a little hotter as well. The fish and shrimp was good though, i just wouldnt go for the buffet again.

Had the baby shrimp, it was delicious. The people were awesome and the place was nice and clean. I can’t speak for anything else, but my shrimp and fries was worth the 12 bucks.

The buffet was very small and only 2 choices of meat and the lettuce was brown. Looked like the place have not been cleaned all day and food and salt was all over the table and floors. It was my birthday and walked out as soon as we got our drinks. Will not be back. Local folks!!!
