We’ve loved coming here since it opened – unfortunately, the menu is not what it used to be. We always love the pad Thai, but they forgot the peanut sauce at our last visit. The menu has gotten smaller and pricier. The drinks are unique for Manitowoc, but again, on the pricier side. Service is always very friendly and always slow due to lack of staff. Perhaps it’s always when we go, but I’ve heard others have similar experiences for years. The atmosphere is great and it’s nice to sit on the deck if the weather is nice. Overall, I’d recommend trying it out if you haven’t!

We got here at 6:45 there were less than 30 people in the whole place. It is now 8pm and the place is empty, we do not have our food, but they are having a great time in the kitchen apparently cooking one order at a time. This is the third time we tried this place and will be the last. The food as you can see was average at best. This place is cute and could be great but for $132 it should be amazing.

The Waterfront Wine Bar is an amazing place to visit with your loved ones! I had a great time there with my mom today. The restaurant has an inviting atmosphere. And let me tell you, the cheese curds were out of this world! I couldn’t get enough of them. The Elevated Alfredo was the real star of my dining experience, truly a dish that you simply can’t miss! It’s the perfect combination of unique eclectic flavors and perfectly cooked pasta. And the best part? You can enjoy it alfresco! The outdoor seating is the perfect place to enjoy a meal here. Crab cakes were also incredibly delicious they were perfectly seasoned and had the most amazing texture. And don’t even get me started on the tiramisu it was like a little slice of heaven on a plate! All in all, I would highly recommend the Waterfront Wine Bar to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience especially for your taste buds.

Very nice, comfortable location. Food options are good. Pad Thai is highly recommended. Service was very slow. Several staff members were working. However, a lot of attention was spent on the customers at the bar playing dice. The server seemed preoccupied.

The po boy was good. Although it seemed a little dry. The amount of food you get is definitely worth the money. The cheesecurds were light and very cheesy. The crayfish dip came out hot. The pad Thai was so good.

Food was absolutely amazing and reasonably priced. Service was friendly, my bartender and my server were both funny, sociable and welcoming. Great place to catch a drink, have lunch with friends, or a romantic date with your S/O.

Waited for our cheese board for over 20 minutes. Eventually we realized multiple tables that were seated after we ordered had received their food, ate and had paid before our food was out. We eventually realized after 45 minutes our food still wasn’t out, we told the waitress to just give us our bill for what we have received. We could see the chef come out and be considerably frazzled we had chosen to close our tab and move on with our night. The waitress was extremely apologetic for the mishap, but after witnessing the chef mingling with other patrons, we chose to find elsewhere for our dinner. The menu seemed very appealing but considering how few consumers were in attendance, it should have been next to no wait for our food. Unfortunately, this is not the first time we have received poor service from this establishment. I hope in the future there are changes for such an amazing atmosphere.

Approachable fine dining, but also dice games at the bar, which makes this a place for anyone. I had the crab cakes and the scallops. Very impressed by both. Great location along the river with both outdoor and indoor seating. Great service.

Compelled to leave a review on this place, ironically not because of the food quality or wait staff service- never got a chance to experience it! In brief, attempted to dine there on Friday and was told at 6 PM that kitchen was backed up by 1.5 hours because of an earlier large party. Fine, I get it and no problem. The wait message was followed with – try us tomorrow (Saturday). So we called at 630 for a reservations at 8 PM. The response given was 1) they accepted the reservation, 2) announced that it was unlikely that we could order food – you won’t be able to eat as they are busy.
