Went into here to try it out, been to plenty of sushi places around the area but hadn’t done this one yet. The inside is really nicely put together, the service was friendly too. The sushi entrees we ordered were very good, the beef in the bento box was just ok. Also ordered a wasabi zen tower which was literally a small sushi tower and it was worth a try. Tasty

Went with my wife and had a deliciously wonderful experience! The service, ambiance and food was excellent. As someone who has traveled the world and also visited Japan, I found the food to be very authentic and made with lots of thought and flavor. Melts in your mouth. Like butter. Straight up no joke, I closed my eyes and could feel the flavor rush over me and take me to another place. My wife and I also enjoyed the cozy ambiance and the service was very on point. I can honestly say that most places I have visited I do not return. But I can assure you, I’m looking forward to my next dining experience at Wasabi Zen.

I quit trying to come here a few years back because they keep total bankers hours. Ninety-odd percent of the time when you show up they’re never open. No idea how they stay in business. I decided to try them again today on a whim and guess what? Closed. Must be independently wealthy I guess. They don’t seem to want my money so fine. There’re plenty of other places that do. ♂️

Sushi tasted just like most of sushi places. Nothing particularly special. But this place’s price and portion are very SPECIAL. Their shumai are “Quarter” coin size(never saw such super mini shumai in any other places).Chicken Teriyaki is half of one chicken breast for $23.95. Overpriced place.

My wife and I recently moved to the area and as self proclaimed sushi lovers, we had to try the best local spot. They were set up for low contact pick up with a tablen at the door with orders that are ready nearby. We ordered: a garden salad, tamago, California roll, eel avocado handroll, 2 salmon rolls, yellowtail roll and a tuna roll.

Recently moved here from Seattle where sushi was amazing. I was kinda bummed that Olney only has one sushi restaurant, and the menu is fairly small. However, the food is always delicious and I’ve already eaten here many times! Well made sushi and the fish always tastes fresh. Made the mistake of venturing further away to try a couple of other places and was very disappointed. Definitely sticking to wasabi zen!

The food quality is good, but the takeout experience is terrible. I was told my order would be ready at 7 PM, and at 7:20 PM-after standing there for 20 minutes – I was told that additional 10 minutes would be needed. The takeout service is consistently slow/behind schedule. Unfortunately, this is one experience of many.
