This is THE FRESHEST seafood/sushi I have had in quite a long time. The service was courteous and prompt and I love that the restaurant is cozy…keeps from getting too loud on busy evenings. I had a lovely conversation with the chef while I awaited my takeout order, I will be patronizing this business for my sushi needs as my top choice going forward. Thank you for amazing fresh food and genuine caring service!

The service was incredibly slow. The waiter gave us 1 menu for 3 people and when my friend asked him to come back for his drink order he said ‘no I’ll wait’ and then impatiently started listing off the different kind of drinks they had. The fried rice was absolutely disgusting and the worst I have had. My partner and I had the sushi and both of us have been sick all weekend. There are much better sushi places in the city that won’t make you sick and have much better staff.

The sushi was wonderful and the hibachi salmon wasn’t overloaded with sauce. Their menu note about a ‘huge’ portion of fried rice is misleading. It’s a generous portion but very much in keeping with the entree size.

We went on a Wednesday evening and were maybe the only people in the restaurant, definitely the only ones in our area. Our server was fine. He was a bit abrupt and not overly friendly, though not rude. That would not have put me off by itself, nor would the empty restaurant.

Volcano sushi was the best one! Friendly staff and great appetizers 🙂 Rainbow roll was delicious! The dynamite mussels and kiss of fire eel roll were so good our server Nara was great No to the octopus and beef tataki. Pino noir meori red wine was also good

One of the top sushi places to eat on this side of town. Small seating area inside, but usually not over crowded. Large wine room with a great selection. Nice decor inside and lots of parking being in a large and long strip mall. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but as expected for excellent sushi. You can sit at a table or at the bar with the chefs.

I got the steak teriyaki lunch with soup, salad and rice. The steak was very dry with no taste, obviously frozen and probably put in the microwave. Took 30 mins to make my order. The only thing that was good was the miso soup. I’m very disappointed

The mistake roll was amazing. The Colts roll was good but very rich. Rainbow roll (pictured) was gorgeous and tasted great. The Gyoza was plump and delicious. 2 adults and a 6 year old ate 4 rolls and an order of Gyoza. Chocolate milk for the kid. Great spot. Will definitely return.

My favorite place to get sushi!! Also, I’m allergic to wheat and eggs and this place does an excellent job of making my fried rice with gluten free soy sauce and no egg. It’s wonderful to be able to trust that I won’t be sick when I eat here. I get a Philadelphia roll and California roll along with the rice.
