I’m sorry to report that the food at this restaurant wasn’t very good at all. What it lacked in LA seafood flavor it made up for in rancid burnt greasy taste. The hush puppies were so dry they sucked the moisture out of your mouth, and one of the Tatar sauce tubs we received had already turned. Won’t be going back.

The staff is very nice. The prices are outrageous. The fish is very greasy. Pictured is the amount of tartar sauce in each cup they give you with your order… not even half of the cup is filled.

The fish is good, but used to be a lot better. The quality of the food has declined somewhat over the past few years. I give it a 4out of five stars. In the past I would have given it 5+ stars. It’s like they don’t care as much about the quality anymore.

The fish and shrimp were real good I would recommend u stop by its not the best looking place, may need a little restoration or upkeep, but I didnt go for the looks and atmosphere. There is no place to eat inside its all take away but I would recommend calling in so u don’t have to wait it does get busy. Food was hot and fresh id consider it the best seafood spot in Bogalusa

This little hole in the wall is a diamond in the rough. The value of the food is as amazing as the quality. You will not find a more delicious hush puppy anywhere in the south! The coleslaw has a distinct sweet and fresh flavor and is the best I have ever eaten. The batter for the shrimp is so crunchy, yet light at the same time. And, if you are an iced tea fan, the sweet tea is amazing and comes with the meals. I have never received any food there in the past 26 years that was less than awesome.

Curbside pickup right now.. Owner was out helping to get the cars lined up and taking orders. Just the most friendly guy ever! We were wary to try the tea before committing to a half gallon and he ended up giving us a half gallon for free! We came all the way from Crosby Texas and were told we had to stop here and they did not disappoint! Best catfish ever!
