Awesome Asian cuisine! A great time to go is during the street fair on Thursdays when it’s not busy at all. The Fried Rice Combination and the Mushroom Asparagus dish are both great.

If creative martini’s are your thing you have to check out this place in Palm Springs. The service was attentive. The appetizers were yummy. The atmosphere was nice on the outdoor open air bar area. But the top of the visit was the Smoking Dragon Martinis! We visited on the right day too, because on Mondays they are half off…. only $7! There are several fruity flavors to choose from. The coconut shrimp were really delicious too. Menu looked really good as well for dinner, but we were not hungry enough to order more food. Check it out!

Wang’s is opened again. Overpriced mediocre Asian food. We ordered wonton soup, Mongolian beef, and calamari with jalapeño. Wonton soup terrible: a big bowl with 4 wonton (for 2 persons) floating in stock. Bad presentation. It should had some greens (and noodles if going traditional). The wonton itself was the worst. Compact mass of minced chicken with no flavor and missing other important ingredients (i.e. black mushrooms, bamboo shoot, sesame oil, etc). Mongolian beef was okay. Actually the meat was tender but I would never season the meat with hoising sauce. Calamari was soggy and missing the flavor of calamari. In addition, they charged 3 dollars for hot water (to be fair, the waiter told us). We paid over 80 bucks for a small dinner. Not worth it! Unfortunately, I can’t patronize or recommend this restaurant.

Food was good, but like the quality expected of a hole in the wall Chinese lunch spot, not high end asian cuisine. So while it was tasty, it was way more overpriced. The server was also fairly awkward and the energy was a little off putting.

Food was cold. The smell of bathroom cleaner was overwhelming bad. 3 out of 4 sink faucets in women’s bathroom were broken. Tea was served in soapy tea pot. Table was cleaned while we were still finishing our meal. Angelica the waitress was very nice though.

Delicious. Great, straight on Chinese food. The hot and sour soup, which is what the picture is of, was so, so good and served in that cool dish. The walnut shrimp was perfect. We felt the portions were kind of small (except for the soup) which is the only reason for the 4 stars. Would absolutely go again.

Add Wang’s to the list of gay bars and/or restaurants with a phallic reference in it’s name lol. I had a good time here. Kelly our bartender has been working locally for decades (she’s good). Live jazz band Thursday night.

Beautiful restaurant with water flowing, calm music and beautiful red accents. Nicholas was an exceptional waiter I’d give him 10 stars he was so friendly, attentive and provided excellent service. Now the reason for 2 stars is the food sucked honestly no flavor, just not authenticity.

Order the veggie trio with fried tofu and cashews. It was delicious. I have been going to Wangs since they opened in 2000. It’s gone through many changes but it really is ready for a comeback. Give it another try.
