My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here. It was our first visit and we were completely blown away by what an amazing experience it was. The Castle is a beautiful venue with a storied history. Dan and Carla know the history and share it with patrons in the most engaging way. Everyone took their time to ensure that we had an incredible evening. Our server, Mark, was attentive but not overwhelming. And the food…this was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Fresh ingredients and flavors melded together, complemented perfectly with the sommelier’s recommendation flight of wine. Simply delicious from the appetizers to the coffee and dessert. Outstanding.

Went to the wandering vine castle 4/26 for fiancés birthday & it was amazing!! We accidentally walked through the front door which was very awkward but I’m sure it happens (sorry again!) The crab bite appetizer was phenomenal as well as the soup of the day (asparagus and crab). I’m a huge soup fan and it was wonderful (light/refreshing/filling). Crab bites were great and the wine had a top tier selection. Plating/dishwear was very thoughtful and beautiful, service was great, ambience was amazing it’s very comfortable yet special which is hard to achieve. Owners were kind and caring and you can tell have a heart for their business which is so great. Keep doing you wandering vine

This is a hidden gem in Shawnee. The service is superb! We had a mix of specials and classics – the gazpacho was absolutely excellent as well as the flank steak. Finished off with a port as recommended by the waitress Sophia who was so so great! Highly recommend for date night/similar.

Have been wanting to try this place for a long time. I was not disappointed. Went for my birthday and it was great. My husband thought his food was fair, but he is also incredibly picky. We had two different appetizers, the oysters Rockefeller and the salmon and crab bites. Both were good. The oysters Rockefeller was my husband’s absolute favorite thing of the entire night. He ordered the scallops for dinner and I had halibut. Both were crazy good. Finally, we shared a rhubarb crisp. Most restaurants just don’t seem to be able to do anything rhubarb and have it come out decently. My mom has always grown her own rhubarb and makes fabulous things out of it so the bar for me is pretty high. I thought this restaurant nailed their rhubarb crisp and even my husband loved it. The owners come and meet you at the table and chat with you which was a pleasant touch. The waitress was cute and helpful. She was very enthusiastic about how much we were going to like the food and she was correct. Can’t wait to go back for brunch.

This entire operation is phenomenal. 5 stars without question. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary there with another couple who has the same anniversary. From the moment we entered we were blown away. Not only is it a gorgeous place but the food & the drinks were out of this world delicious. The owner even get involved to help my parents surprise us during the meal. Such a perfect place to celebrate any special occasion. A very memorable anniversary made extra special be brunch at the wandering vine

Sunday Brunch Date! Everything we experienced was wonderful! We were promptly greeted, seated, and served. The atmosphere is beautiful, the food is unique and delicious, and the service was delightful. Highly recommended and we will be back again.

Beautiful place to enjoy a quiet lunch. They didn’t have bar seating, so we got a table. The manager was very nice and our waitress was very good, though a bit over chatty. Very attentive service.

We didn’t get a visit to our table from the owners like some of the other people have mentioned on their reviews, but my friend brought me here for a combo birthday/Christmas gift and we had a lovely evening. Other than service being a little slow, we had no complaints. The food was amazing! The wine was fabulous! Our server was very sweet. It’s not inexpensive, but for a special occasion it’s the cream of the crop! Definitely recommend, especially for a romantic night out, or a small-group girls’ night.
