Wasn’t a bad experience or was the food bad…. just outdated and small and food was just bar food that was good to eat and sit with two of my daughters after a soccer game. We all got burgers and the wife got a salad lol and a order of chili fries floor an app…. all was good service was good just again needs updated but price and everything was good for the atmosphere it offered.

The absolute worst service I have ever had!!! It took 25 minutes just to put in our drink order, then another 20 minutes to order food. 25 minutes later got the food… not good. The grilled cheese sandwich didn’t even melt the cheese. Nasty. Our pops were watered down by the time we got the food because the ice melted.

Had a coupon for a free burger with purchase of a drink from the Wichita Open. The burger really wasn’t good. In fact, I had to go home and eat some chocolate to get the taste out of my mouth. I hadn’t eaten at Walt’s in a while, but remembered them as being pretty good. I don’t know if they have burgers that they set aside to be used for people presenting the coupons, but I have another 9 or 10 coupons I don’t intend to use. If you have some, for the price of your required beverage purchase and the cost of a tip, you can get a MUCH better meal across the parking lot at Chick-fil-A.

There was some miscommunication about some coupons we had been given for Walt’s, but the food and service were still great. Some of the other patrons were having a loud conversation towards the end that we didn’t really want to hear. Overall, we enjoyed the experience and would likely go back.

So worth the stop! Delicious burgers and onion rings!

Walts is a staple. Great food, great service, great drinks. The staff does a great job of making you feel like family. I can’t speak high enough of their employees. Brittney, Lauren, Rachel, Shelly, Evan, Matt, Sean, whoever it is they always treat me right.

Service was perfectly fine. My boyfriend ordered a whiskey sour that was terrible and he was looking forward to the onion rings but they were bland and under done. We also don’t understand how one $10 burger with a $2 onion ring up charge, an $8 appetizer, two $3 sodas and a whiskey sour was $42. I would’ve mentioned it there if my boyfriend would’ve let me see the bill while we were there. Are whiskey sours really $16? We will not be returning.

First time at east side Walts and it was disappointing. I had the chicken fried steak sandwich and it was so grisly that I could hardly chew it and the parts that weren’t grisly were so thin you couldn’t even taste any meat. Fries were good and so was the service. The other two in my group had burgers and were pleased, if I go back I will know to do a burger next time

Mixed review. Always good eating in but take out is risky. Take out fries were awful – so overcooked they were like potato sticks- and the fried fish was really greasy. Never had food like this while eating in Walt’s. On the plus side the hamburger was very good, as was the coleslaw. We love Walt’s eating in so we may give take out another chance – but it’s disappointing they sent me home with food they would never put on the table.

Shelly was amazing to us. Drinks were strong, vibes were good, burgers are even better. Come to Walt’s!
