If you are looking for food that will leave you full and satisfied, this is the place to be! They have tasty Southern cuisine dishes, their Southern fried chicken and beef chili were some of the best we’ve ever had. They also have an extensive beer selection, which as a Belgian, I really appreciated. The services was a bit slow (it took 45 minutes to get our appertizers), but it’s a cozy place to enjoy your drink and talk!

Ate at Nod Hill brewery. Ordered Nashville chicken sandwich and a salad. Both very good. Great brewery and beer options included non alcohol. Really good..

A very fun and filling restaurant in downtown Westport. They have a great amiance, if a little crowded, but I love the space. This is a meat-eaters BBQ restaurant but they have some good options in addition to just BBQ, The fried chicken was delicious and I think you have to have it at least once. My wife loved the brussel sprouts. I had the brisket steak and cheese, which was tasty, but a little light on the fried onions and peppers, and a little heavy on the cheese sauce. Plenty of other delicious looking options to choose from with a great beer selection to boot.

There was not a single bite that I didn’t thoroughly enjoy. I wanted to savor every little bit possible. It was like a playground for my tastebuds. Though tight quarters, the space tickled my nerdy tendency, giving a rustic tavern vibe. The service was beyond friendly and helpful when navigating a menu where all the options sound equally delectable. If you are going to try anything, the burnt ends had us wanting to order a second portion.

We were very impressed with the southern style food we got here. There aren’t many places around the area with this type of food, so this one nailed it perfectly! All the food was delicious and very fairly priced. The only con we had for the night was the service was a little slow, as the waitress walked by us 4-5 times without our drinks. Otherwise this place is great!

Family of five did the Pig out for 4… One Tennessee Hot fried chicken sandwich and fries, two Burnt ends apps, a French onion soup. All the meats were tasty tender and wonderful. It’s Hard to get all the meat right with such a diverse menu, Well Done WA!

We got the Notorious PIG for takeout plus a few extra sides. The pulled pork and ribs were awesome but the smoked turkey & brisket were very bland. Sides were good (especially the Brussels sprouts & pickles) but sadly the cornbread was missing from our bag. The meal was supposed to feed four, and I think this would be fine for 2 adults/2 kids, but it really is not enough for 4 adults. Glad we supplemented with some extra sides!

I was a loyal customer of Walrus Carpenter in Black Rock, and was sad to see it go. Finally made my way to their Westport location, on a sunny Saturday afternoon.

Food truck. Slow (hr+ wait) Cold. Lack of flavor. Been coming regularly and it’s getting worse and worse. Come on. Be better AND follow your orders. When you wait an hour and see people getting food after you – no excuse.
