Jiandui are a type of fried Chinese pastry made from glutinous rice flour. The pastry is coated with sesame seeds on the outside and is crisp and chewy after immediately being cooked. Inside the pastry is a large hollow, caused by the expansion of the dough. The hollow of the pastry is filled with a filling usually consisting of lotus paste, or alternatively, sweet red bean paste. They are also sometimes referred to as sesame balls.

Driven by this little gem for a very long time. Very pleased we decided to stop here for the very 1st time. Food order arrived very quick. Staff was friendly. You’re able to order and take out. Food was delicious, will definitely eat here again!

Local hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant with generous lunch specials. They’re open for takeout and delivery during coronavirus, which was great to know since my mom was craving hot and sour soup. We ordered over the phone and it took only ~15 minutes for the food to be ready. There’s a small parking lot and they do take credit card.

This is great for quick, good, food that’s a good value. We usually get the chow fun and sizzling rice soup because I’m the kids love it. We have also had Mapo tofu, beef & broccoli, and other dishes. Everybody is always satisfied. I’ve only ever done take-out.

Best deal are the dinner and lunch specials, served with soup and egg roll with a piece of shrimp. Soup you only get if you dine in. I give this place 4 stars because I’m not going their for the ambiance or excellent service I go their for the value and food.

I’ve always passed by this place going headed towards Rowland heights for Asian food and never bothered to stop by. Well, I stopped by and was not disappointed. A small ma and pa shop located in an industrial area. Price is affordable and food was good. Very nostalgic
