Glad that we finally made our way north to try this spot. When we checked online it said up to a half hour wait but we were seated immediately. It’s a fairly small venue but they can turn the tables quickly with their efficient and accurate kitchen. Staff was super friendly, but maybe to a fault. By that I mean that several of their servers would congregate near two tables of regulars beside us and neglect things like coffee refills and cashing out other tables. That was bothersome for me. I am NEVER that customer who wags his empty coffee cup at a server but I was VERY tempted to do so this day. Mentally I WAS doing that as well as jumping on my chair ti try and break their spell—I’m sure they didn’t even know they were doing it!! As for their food, it was indeed pretty good. Wife loved how the bacon was cooked and her egg over medium-well was also perfect. Nice, too that you can choose either two smaller hotcakes or toast as a side. The chicken fried steak patty however was below average. It’s seriously so easy to bread and fry a cube steak that no one anywhere ever should buy those frozen CFS pucks! Have to say that the prices were on the high side and $3.95 for coded is the highest I’ve seen in town (but in their defense, it is locally toasted and pretty good coffee).

Welcoming, charm, excellent food, cozy mahogany wood booths, stellar service, and enjoyable soft music – all made me forget to take pictures of our food! Today’s cup of fresh fruit even had slices of dragon fruit. Coffee is bold, and you will leave this place with a happy heart. Plenty of parking in the East side lot. You will love this place. PS: food pics are from table next to us 😉

It’s a very cute neighborhood restaurant. Good service and the food is fine for what it is, except the coffee, which is McDonald’s-like. But the fact is, it’s too expensive. For the same price I could be eating at the highly creative Bruncheonette or the Old European. The food here is well prepared, but obviously processed ingredients and basic recipes with no pizzazz, yet the same price as these other places. I think it might appeal more to senior citizens. Please note they recently updated their prices. The cheapest kids meal is now $8.

This is a must try. The food is great. The service is good and friendly. You know if a place is full of men and woman eating there is a reason. Enjoy and your welcome

Great breakfast here! Our party of 4 each ordered our favorites from the breakfast menu. Meals were perfect for each of us too! My meal came with a choice of bread product. I heard the biscuits were good, so I gave them a try. I had never been served a cut side toasted biscuit, but rather enjoyed it! Soft top and bottom with toasty middle. Delicious!

For 20 years I’ve eaten at this establishment, it is still the best hidden breakfast joint on Wall street. The waitresses are friendly and deliver prompt service even while slammed. I will continue to choose this place for breakfast every Sunday.

Their coffee is delicious! I always have 4 cups. We had Eggs Benedict and a Greek Omelet, both were fabulous. Our server was fantastic! She kept our cups full and made certain we had everything we could have wanted. We always have a great experience here. We’ll definitely be back!

The bacon was excellent (asked to have it well done and it was perfect). The pancakes were also good.
