Positives first. Nachos were phenomenal. Got them with rotisserie chicken and they were delicious. Chicken strips were good and the spicy sandwich was great even though it looked like it had been smashed into oblivion for no reason. Maybe it’s supposed be flattened?

First time trying Waldo’s and me and my bf were so disappointed. He got the nachos and they were barely covered in cheese. I got the wings and they barely had flavor and weren’t covered in sauce like I thought they would be. The fries were soaked in oil and soggy. One of the bathrooms was also disgusting. Only positive thing is the atmosphere and the little bar area in the middle. Definitely do not recommend.

I had the pulled chicken sandwich with the Alabama white sauce and it was delicious. The bun was nicely toasted and held together well. My side was coleslaw which was a vinegar base with a hint of sweetness. My wife had a salad with pulled chicken with buffalo sauce and ranch. She said it was pretty good. So then you might wonder why I gave it a 3 rating overall rather than maybe a 4 or even a 5? I did rate the food a 5 because it was tasty. My issue was the cost. I get it that inflation is out of control but the sandwich size was not huge and my side was just slaw. And my wife’s salad at $15.61 was about $3 more than any other similar salad for instance at Newk’s. So my mid rating was due to the cost of food or the value. Oh and the wallpaper was cool in the bathroom.

A different experience with chicken. Above Zaxby’s and a tinge of Walk-on’s. My plated dinner was above my expectations. The chicken was tender, and the cheddar biscuit was great. You only get one small biscuit with your plated meal. Three more of them wouldn’t make the meal complete. The white beans and Mac and cheese were tasty sides. The loaded nachos were great and is enough for 2-3 people to share. It too had a very tasty sauce on it along with plenty jalapeños, cole slaw, white beans, cheese, and your choice of chicken. Nothing bad to say here. Will definitely visit again. Liked the low key vibe and staff was friendly, too.

We got two orders of Nachos Supreme (your choice of rotisserie or fried chicken) and an order of cheddar biscuits . The nachos came on an 8×10 plate completely full. Neither of us could eat the whole thing.

I tried the NLR location last year and was not impressed at all. This new spot was a bit better but they still have work to do. I got the 1/4 chicken dark meal with mac-n-cheese, tomato cucumber salad and a biscuit. The mac was pretty good and the salad was, well, salad. The biscuit wasn’t great though and the chicken just ok. Their seasoning blend needs some fine tuning. I also tried their onion rings which were huge but not the best in flavor. Again, their breading needs some tweaking.

Good, old fashioned, quality fried chicken. And quite possibly the best potato wedges I’ve eaten. Ate at a Waldo’s in Nashville and loved it, the south Little Rock location didn’t disappoint.

I don’t know if I’ve ever had better fried chicken than I had at Waldo’s! Be sure to try the collard greens and white beans. By the way, the white beans are Southern Season with chopped up onions. Amazing! I have also had the roasted chicken, chicken nachos, and chicken tenders, which are obviously homemade. Everything is fantastic! And the folks who work there are so friendly! I can’t recommend it highly enough! I bring friends here to introduce them to all those all the time!

Place looks great, service is great. Food is questionable because I ordered a Buffalo Chicken and 6 piece was regulator Buffalo and other 6 was Buffalo with lemon and that 6 with lemon is just a regulator plain chicken with lemon and lots of pepper witch makes not a good combination because of over use of paper. And fries is Is saggy and not fresh like it’s been sitting for a while. The prices I a little over but that would be ok if food is good.
