Amazingly delicious butter garlic shrimp and equally delicious butter garlic steak. If you want overflowing flavors and oozing amounts of butter and garlic goodness, come here immediately. I’ve had butter garlic shrimp on every Hawaiian island and this place is my favorite. Don’t let the food court location fool you, this is gourmet Hawaiian classic food at its finest.

Want to give a 2.5 but it is not available. The rice is very dry and it is probably from yesterday. The rice is very hard and I was very disappointed. Didn’t finish the rice or coleslaw. The coconut shrimp was very sweet and it lost the freshness.. overall the food in the resort area are overpriced. Try Kona area if possible. I had a way better shrimp from the shrimp farm in Honolulu.

The Garlic Shrimp and Shrimp Dynamite were so delicious! They were busy when we went around lunchtime and had a 20-30 minute wait time. The staff were so nice to let us know before ordering and were still patient when we asked questions about the menu during lunch rush. Luckily, there’s lots of shops to check around while you waited, and we got back and saw our food was ready earlier! I suggest eating outside on a nice day under one of the umbrella tables. I also recommend bringing lots of napkins for the garlic shrimp! While they are very delicious, they can also be messy to peel. The Shrimp Dynamite had such yummy sauces and was crispy. This dish is also better to order if you are lazy like me and don’t want to peel the shrimp Both plates had big portions. It was definitely the right amount to eat after snorkeling and working out in the morning!

I’d give it 5 star had today’s shrimp been as good as yesterday’s. We had garlic shrimp and lemon and pepper shrimp yesterday and it was great. Light, full of flavour, really recommend. Probably the best I ever eaten. Tonight I thought I’ll try something else and that was unavailable so I tried Dynamite Shrimp. There was a lot of fatty batter on the shrimp. I had tempura prawns before many times , sadly this was the worst.

Waikoloa Shrimp Eatery is located north of Kailua-Kona, nestled inside the Queen Shops (Queens Marketplace) of the Waikoloa Resort property. You can find its location under the roof of the Food Court there. It’s easy to find beside the Luxury Cinema. They offer shrimp options, a really good bacon mac salad, and a delicious garlic steak dish. I’ve ordered the garlic steak dish several times, and it’s so darn good. It also comes with bacon mac salad and pineapple. This dish has lots of flavors, and the price point is roughly around $18. The service is friendly, the food comes out quickly, and the food court has air conditioning. It’s a perfect low-key meal if you don’t want to make reservations or wait for a table at some of the other establishments surrounding the Queen Shops.

This is a must try place if you’re on the island. Absolutely DELICIOUS Crispy Garlic Shrimp, super large, plump, juicy, and fresh with a ton of umami taste from the garlic. Perfectly cooked, tender on the inside, crunchy shell on the outside. Everything was perfect.
