The luau was generally fine. Drinks were good, food was decent (nothing amazing, nothing horrible), the pre show was fun, but the unfortunate part was that the audience in front of me stood or held their camera’s above their heads for much of the show. (the man and his son were both initially standing up completely blocking my view)

This was everything you would expect at a luau: all you can eat buffet with all the traditional foods and desserts, all you can drink bar, a beautiful sunset, perfect weather, beautiful and handsome hula and fire dancers, lots of talent. The host was funny and really knows the heritage of Hawaii. Our family enjoyed it very much!

This was a great luau! There’s a little cultural overview, fire dancing (our favorite), open bar and great food. This is buffet style and similar to a wedding you’re called by table. Get there early as seating is first come first serve. There’s a VIP option which gives you closer seating, a box of cookies and one of the first tables for the buffet. They use the traditional emu oven which others in the area don’t. It was a fun evening which I would highly recommend.

Very disappointed given the hype and the cost. Food was subpar, very few choices, hardly any options that were local Hawaiian, and they removed the buffet very quickly after people took their first serving.

Very disappointed, the food was good not great, it rained during the meal + everyone left and never saw the show due to the time delay. Mariott refused to provide a price allowance even the the show didn’t happen, very disappointed for a show that cost $450/couple. I’ ve been to much better luaus.

Great show that is well organized. Food was solid and didn’t need to spend much time waiting for a drink. Glad to see the blessing before food and the performers were excellent.

Booked the premium seating package for my boyfriend and I, and it was worth it. We happened to be the second table to be dismissed for food which was a huge plus. Quite a few people there but it still felt like an intimate setting. I was worried about the food but didn’t have any trouble. There was something there to please everyone, and the open bar certainly helps! We didn’t end up getting there until 5 (the sign said registration began at 4) and it worked out fine for us. We had never been to a luau and we thought the actual show (which ran an hour and 15 minutes) was well worth it. Would definitely recommend for those visiting the Big Island!

Phenomenal luau! Recommend for all ages! We took our almost 2 year old and sat front row. He loved the entire show except for one dance that had some loud chatting (we walked away for that performance and he was begging to come back to watch more). But honestly we were shocked and happy he enjoyed the show plus the buffet as much as he did as he gets a little nervous with loud sounds.

Very good show. Food was good. Not as big of a selection as some. Good vendors. Just wish they had more. Great MC, traditional show with heritage, and view of sunset.

Exceeded my expectations! I 100% recommend this luau. I was kind of afraid after reading some negative reviews, but this ended up being a wonderful experience for our family. The food was delicious and the bartenders quite zippy, and the entertainment was top-notch. My young son had so much fun watching the dancers (the fire dancer was his favorite). It’s smaller than some luaus from what I understand, but you cannot beat the sunset view, the intimate nature of the setup, and the talent presented. If you can, pay for the upgrade to the tables upfront for a better view and earlier access to the food. Our table went last, but there was still plenty of food and they were bringing out more. Thank you for a memorable experience!
