I ordered a hamburger and sweet potato tots as well a fountain drink. I am glad I ordered my hamburger medium well because it was cooked excellent well done would have been over cooked. Sweet potato tots were better than Red Robin’s sweet potato fries and I love those. We walked into resturant and thought they were closed but you order in the grocery store.

My boyfriend and I had high hopes for this one, but it was sadly a bit underwhelming. This Wahlburgers is inside of Hyvee, but you can enter through the grocery store or the other separate entrance to the restaurant. We came for the restaurant so we entered through that door. It was unclear where to go from there. No signs saying seat yourself or order over here. We wandered in until we found an employee who said we could order at the counter and proceeded on with her work. We looked around and didn’t see a “counter” other than the bar. The employee came back around and pointed us out to the store where there was additional seating and a counter to order at. It just took away from the atmosphere in my opinion. We finally ordered the pretzel bites, 2 burgers, fries, cheese sticks and a shake. The food was good, don’t get me wrong. We were just a little surprised by the $65 bill for what felt like drive thru restaurant food. Overall, I would eat there again if someone else was treating or maybe just for a shake if I was there shopping.

We went for lunch and we were excited to try it. We got in, went around the corner and ordered our food. The wait staff and the people at the counterwere very pleasant and nice. We ordered two adult meals and two kids meals and I personally were shocked it was over $50. So we sat after we got our drinks, waited for our food. And the food was just okay. Nothing to rave about unfortunately. I got the double cheeseburger and my wife got the hamburger with the PBJ and it was just okay. Unfortunately nothing to rave about, nothing out of the ordinary. My daughter liked hers. Was hoping for a better food experience for the price that we paid. The wait staff again was very pleasant nice but the overall experience just did not overwhelm like we were hoping.

On the plus side, they have an interesting array of sandwich choices. The onions on the melt were properly grilled, and the bread had a nice, buttery crunch without being soggy or greasy. The fries were crispy and not overly salted. However, the burger meat itself was very bland and the cheese overpowered most of the flavor. My son had the Wallapeño burger, and all he could taste was the sauce and peppers. The onion rings tasted fine, but were more like onion strings: there’s just nothing to them. I first ordered the Juicy Lucy off the menu and was told, “We don’t have that here.” My other son also ordered onion rings but got fries. In the end, it was absolutely not worth $16 per burger.

Went here 8/19/23 walked passed 2 employees. Only looked at me kinda funny. Walked through the restaurant seen a sign that read,”order in grocery store. Walked past another employee only staring. Checking out my wife. We should have left at this point. We gave it a chance anyway. Ordered food. I was paying cash and they couldn’t get in the register. Manager C. Walked through from grocery store. Flirted a little. Girls didn’t want to be bothered. They asked him for help. He walked away telling them to use Brandon’s numbers 19-8. Finally go to sit. Had to sit in grocery section. Table was dirty. Seats and floor were dirty. People only standing around looking at us like we are inconveniencing them. OK got food. Cold burgers took a couple bites and had a chunk of dirt in it. We walked out at that point. Charge you up front so it does no good to complain. I’ll probably never try another Walburgers. Almost $50. For 2 of us.

We went here twice in one week, well, Thursday. It was pretty good. The first time I ordered medium well done and got a medium rare hamburger. Second time, I ordered well done and got a medium well done, so, it worked. But, both burgers were pretty good. The first time I ordered, I got bacon Mac and cheese. Eh, not horrible but not great either. Also, got onion straws and those were awesome!

I’m basing this on the comparison with the flagship store in Massachusetts. The food was very good. Very very loud inside between the people cheering in the music we ate on the other side. The waiter could not find us with our food. One of the service people had to go find him.

Honestly, have quickly come to love this place! It’s a great option for before or after a movie at AMC a few blocks away, and the food is just good. I will say, the young man working the counter is more polite and seemed to get the order correct without needing to repeat things, or having to listen to various complaints as he had none.

Amazing. The Burgers are fantastic. I’ve tried 4 different ones so far. It’s so good. Love the show too but food is even better. I hope it stays in Peoria. Everything is so good there. I highly recommend it

This place is expensive 15 to 20 dollars on just a shake,(which I had to wait 45 minutes for) some bacon Mac and cheese,(which barely had any cheese) and an our burger(which was decent). I only gave it 2 stars because I came during the Wednesday night trivia or else I would have gave it a one.
