Absolutely amazing!

The mandarin orange chicken is really good. The wanton soup was pretty flavorless, and the almond chicken was alright, but could have used more sauce and peanut topping and less lettuce under it .. preferably none. The fried rice is dry and also without much flavor. It is nice that they include tea with the meal. You’ll just have to ask at least three times for it, if you can catch a waiter. We had to chase one down a few times as it appeared they forgot we were there. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful, but extremely quiet. An uncomfortable silence that leaves you very aware of the sound of your own chewing.

OMG! My first time at this place and it reminded me of back home in Virginia! I loved the pork fried rice! And of course everything else my hubby suggested. I just wouldn’t want to order from anywhere else now. Wonderful, friendly staff! Very accommodating! I just love this place. And it’s right up the road!

Been going here over 60 years… food is still great… Family style meals used to leave us with tasty treats for days after. I guess they followed the Panda Express model to keep portions at minimum acceptable sizes. That’s why the family only eats on special occasions. Can’t justify the 10-20 visits a year of the past. It’s still the best I’ve eaten.

We were in seattle traveling through. I was very excited, I’ve been eating there my whole life. The food wasn’t the same. We ordered 2 #3″s. They brought us chowmein and fried rice on our plates. And then brought the rest. Instead of the normal way of bringing platters of food. They are now opened everyday which is nice. But the love is no longer in the food.

Used to be 5-star before the owners changed and the quality dipped. Detestable 3 times in a row. Sweet N’ Sour sauce tastes like watered down vinegar, chicken has a distinct freeze-dried flavor if any at all, the BBQ pork has cartilage laced all throughout, the egg rolls while palletable are too greasy with the individual flavors merging into 1 flavor, which gets very boring very fast. Each visit leaves me less satisfied than the last. Maybe I’m a glutton for punishment since I already suffered this along with abdominal pain from my last two visits. Wah Kue’s will be the last restaurant I visit for any meal.

Good food good service place was extremely clean for being an older establishment from the 50’s era!

Atmosphere could use an update. But the place has server this community since 1952. You’ll either love it or not. Hope you enjoy it.

Been going here over 50 yrs. Not the best in this “genre” of old school Cantonese quisine but, one of the few left that knows haw to make boneless almond fried chicken. It was 5 star back in the day.
