Store 587 in New Iberia LA. Waitress. Tracey. First time I’ve ever walked into a Waffle House and been told welcome by every single employee. It was spotless, the employees all dressed in uniforms and the food was quick and delicious!! The service was polite and efficient and I was actually impressed. Loved it !!!

Stopped in to get breakfast to go. One of the staff members got mad cause I wasn’t ready to order and the a lady came up a couple minutes later and I was ready. Then checked out and was charged $1.80 time 2 for making a Togo order. This is terrible. I never felt so cheated and unwelcome

We went to the Waffle House at the Hwy 301 exit off I10 in Florida outside of Jacksonville this morning. This restaurant is the perfect representation of everything you want your restaurants to be. The staff (all female) were friendly, professional and fast. The food was hot, correct and delicious. The restaurant, although full and on a short wait, was spotless. The ladies cooking maintained a completely clean area, including the floors. I was a restaurant kitchen manager, trainer, GM for years and this is a dream team. Even the exterior was clean from the street to the back. Perfect score for this one.

I love Waffle House. My favorite is the 2 egg breakfast. I recently noticed a $2 charge and found out it was for 2 glasses of ice water. This is the case in several locations so not specific to one Waffle House. Water is my choice of drink so I don’t order water because cola can be pricey. However, there are some that order water because they can’t afford coffee, juice or soda. For example senior citizens. If I order water only or ice only, will you charge .50? Next, will you charge for me to use your restroom because that takes a lot more water than a glass. Disappointed

8.6.23 I arrived at a location in the Mississippi area after placing my order there was a alteration which occurred between a female employee and a male customer initially and to my surprise the female employee appear to be the aggressor not just only with the customer but her fellow male co-worker as well and that from all appearance having a transparent well organized and stable mind seem not to be a training trait of this waffle house location. The altercation extended to 4 other patrons that had walked in behind me As a customer and seeing that there was a small child “girl” sitting next to me with the 4 patrons someone 3-5 years old should not be hearing this type of language coming from Adults more less employees of a business establishment I sense since the employee as angry and rushed to the back and did not know her mental stability sensing danger could be involved I then ask that the other 4 customers would had come in behind me please leave and wait in their vehicles I will add their bill on to mind just to deescalate the situations logically thinking they agreed and went to their vehicles. It was then i ask the black male cook to please have their food taken to the costumer’s vehicle sadly he refused, however the white lady working there did understand my purpose with the de-escalation of the situations and took the patrons food to their vehicles. In short, I wrote this to say that I believe if I did not do what I had done the situation could have ended tragically causing innocent people lives as a result of an employee who refused to use simply common sense.

Went to Waffle House on Memorial Dr. in Stone Mountain and the service was ok but the young cook wasn’t changing his gloves and not being sanitary at all. I didn’t want to to say anything because I feel you should know better dealing with food. But not once did he change gloves or wash his hands. And he was on his phone in and out the window. The cook wasn’t fully understanding the orders.

My order was all wrong. My eggs came three times wrong. Toast was cold only got half the normal hash browns because the cook was out back an waitress was attempting to cook an dropped plate on the griddle so all the food that was ready had to be re cooked . Only received two pieces of bacon had to beg for coffee creamer an the employee was on the phone twice during my short visit. This location was on HWY 13. Eastover NC. Worse experience ever at a waffle house. Today’s date JULY 1 2023. Saddest part it wasn’t crowded. The staff was totally under trained in even the easiest task such as making over easy eggs

Let go without cause and corporate won’t respond to my multiple calls about resolution. I was a dedicated employee and when traveling with notice and approval from my manager for court dates I was listed as “no call no show”. It broke my family and we are still struggling. Do better Waffle House.
