*Travel to Nelson location before this location*This location appears to be clean. Which it is. However the service and food quality did not meet my expectations during the first or second visit. I could blame it on the waiter, but I won’t. It took 5 minutes for us to order drinks. Another 5 minutes to be served the drinks and then another 10 minutes for us to order. Finally after 30 minutes without food, I was debating on leaving. 3 customers that arrived before us was served by the time we received our drinks. There were multiple employees there, and not very many customers. Next time, it would be nice if the other staff members could check in on guest who look agitated.

I’ve been eating at Waffle Houses all over the US! And this one is now my favorite! So The Story Goes, I ordered my usual All Star special !! the cook informed me the waffle machines were not cooperating. The Young waitress could tell the disappointment on my face so she proceeded take my order I said I was not sure as of yet .. while I’m sitting there pondering on what to order she asked me if I would like for her try anyway, I asked her the percentage of it working out we’re both agreed a 50/50 chance! Although it was not the perfect waffle, it was no less than the best tasting waffle! The manager said I did not have to pay for it because it was not perfect. I said no sir I will pay for it, was not on my ticket so the change left out of the $20 was her tip almost $10 now that I think about it she deserved more, and next time I visit she will !!

The cooking area had fly’s around the raw food. Everything was nasty and unkept. Most Night Shift employees uniforms looked unpresentable. Morning shift had to come and pick up the slack from the last shift

One of the best Waffle House’s I’ve been to ever. I actually went here twice in one day when we were on vacation in Lake Charles at the casinos. It’s super close to L’auberge too so when you’re needing a late late night meal after too much of that whole thing it’s right there where you need it!

Food was fine and everything is usually okay. Somehow this night took a turn. There were 4 men on the clock, and it was only us two women in the building. One guy talked about extremely vulgar inappropriate behavior about women. And not to mention, he addressed uncomfortable child support. None of the other guys told him anything, instead they just laughed. We continuously had to address our waiter, and he was inattentive. Very disgusting experience.
