Decided to go Waffle House last night on 10/12 and was trying to place my order for pick up over the phone. Called 6 times, 2 times they picked up the phone and hung it up. Ended up just going and placing my order in the restaurant. They were somewhat busy, I wouldn’t say jam packed. As I was standing to place my order. Waited 10 minutes to try and place an order, I noticed the phone was off the hook. I guess this was to not hear the phone ringing. And the cordless phone was in the back because a lady worker came in and got it from the back and put it on the counter in the front. This is absolutely uncalled for and disrespectful. This is happening at this restaurant with an assistant store manager on duty?? Like that’s very uncalled for and I’m pretty sure that restaurant lost out on some money last night because of it. Do better.

It’s your basic waffle house, so don’t expect anything but a waffle house. It’s clean, the staff is attentive and it’s 100% better than the IHOP in our town. Today’s experience, a small 5 minute wait for a table, sat at a cleaned table, sever Jonus jumped right on us with drinks and took our order expeditiously. We had our order very quickly and he even double checked the order for accuracy before bringing it to the table. Thanks Jonus! We will be back.

This is my new favorite place to eat. Not only is the food good and inexpensive, but the gang knows my order and puts it in when I walk in. They are all so kind to customers and actually help each other out! It’s so refreshing to be in a “fast food” food establishment and experience service like this! Indeed, it’s rare these days.
