Loved this Waffle House. Both night shift and morning shift staff were friendly. The place was clean and air conditioned. My husband and I enjoyed staying at the nearby hotel and coming here. I didn’t get her name but to the waitress who has green/blue hair thank you for your kindness! God bless.

I love the waffle house, but this has to be the worst one I’ve ever entered! No one in sight when I walked in. It was dirty everywhere. I’m pretty certain the bowl used to scrabble my eggs, and the grill were not clean before making my food. I walked 5 min from the hotel and there was nowhere else to close enough to walk to. I wish I had just driven because I would’ve left. The food was good enough, I was just nervous to eat it. The lady came out of the bathroom and I believe the guy did, too. She came out with the tightest eyes I’ve ever seen. The cook had already taken my order. I ate quickly and got out of there! The atmosphere was very uncomfortable.

Went with my husband and son. We ordered full meals, son only ordered 2 waffles. They served us adults and my son didn’t get his waffles until after we were done eating our entire meal! Even though we kept asking where our child’s food was. The cook deserved a tip because food was great!! But service sucked!!! Manager literally sitting next to us on her phone and kept reassuring us that our son’s waffles were coming right up! This went on for half hour!!! Oh, and there were sugar ants all over the women’s bathroom! Didn’t see that until getting ready to leave… Stay away from here!! Find another waffle house to eat at

I visited the Waffle House on Read Blvd. in New Orleans. The manager, Mr. Myron was very welcoming! Though it was extremely busy, he made it a point to come over to every seated customer and welcome them. I placed an order to go. Hence, it was 3 separate orders. Unfortunately, one of my orders was pretty incomplete. I requested grits, ham, and sausage added to one of the grand slam orders. However, to no avail. The order had eggs, hash browns, and bacon only. Yet, I was charged for the food I didn’t receive. I didn’t realize it until I got home. There was no sense in calling because I was not going to go back to get it. Perhaps I should have called Mr. Myron to inform him; not so much for the overcharge, but so it won’t happen to another customer.

Perfectly adequate Waffle House kept from a 5 star review by a dirty bathroom, sticky table, and a waitress who was busy and couldn’t be as attentive as we hoped. Still, the food was hot and tasty and our orders were correct.

I understand folks gotta train and learn, it’s just unfortunate for us that we came during someone learning. However, it really hurt to see them in action. It HAD to be their first night and the first time they EVER had seen a pen and note pad, spatula, eggs, toast, or ever stepped into the restaurant.

At the end of the day it’s called Waffle House!!!! If anything should be perfect it should be the m/f waffle the workers don’t want to work anymore I highly recommend you do not go to this one until they get new workers because it’s not the food it’s the cooks!!!!!!!!!!!

This waffle house was a let down. Their tea tasted terrible like the container had mold or something and their cooking stations were a complete mess. Ordered a burger and they didn’t even give me lettuce tomatoes pickles or onions. Then they forgot to even make my friends food. she ended up leaving without getting any food. they took 45 mins to deliver my food. I will not be coming here again and I’d recommend to whoever was planning on going here to just keep driving. It’s not worth the money.
