The wait staff was amazing, the food was decent for breakfast. The manager on duty could have been more helpful by jumping in to help his crew with dishes. They were out of clean silverware and the cooks were waiting tables. In all fairness they were pretty busy that morning and had folks waiting for tables.

We went to In This Moment concert, which was amazing, after the show, we decided to hit up Waffle House. They were completely under staffed for this event, but Joey came in from another store, Nick, Maria, and Gary saved the day by working extremely hard making sure all the customers were very well taken care of. Sad to report, walked in to 2 dirty tables, had to ask waitress to clean it. She did, but still left table behind us dirty. Didn’t give us a menu, so I had to grab one from behind counter (they were stacked right next to me) the menu was sticky and filthy, I had to tell her it needed to be cleaned. Then she gives us silverware, my husband’s were both dirty! Plainly visible food. Again, I had to ask for clean silverware. Another couple walked in behind us, sat in window seat. We watched them as they kept looking around, no one waited on them (I count 6 ppl working here) and restaurant not busy, maybe 6 tables including ours full, 1 guy at bar stool. The couple then moves to a table closer to counter, hoping to get waited on…to no avail, they finally get up and walk out!! My food was ok. Husband’s eggs were slimy, at this point he’s so grossed out can’t eat anyways…now our waitress is Mia…. we wait another 5 minutes to check out… sad to see this is what America has come to. Not alot of people care or take pride in what their doing. Needless to say, we won’t be stopping here again!

Table was dirty when we got there. It was promptly cleaned off but wiped with a cloth that had been sitting in stinky water…we wiped the table down with wet napkins afterwards. You could feel the tension between the cooks/waitstaff, although our waitress was very pleasant with us. Our bacon was served on a plate swimming in grease. Employees walked past an open refrigerator 7 times before someone finally closed it.

Waitress had a very bad attitude. Got pieces of my meal at a time. Eggs were raw with shells in them. Grits were swimming in butter and the hash browns were hash bricks. Do not recommend the Corbin Kentucky location.

Very dirty. While the server repeated my special request to have crispy fully cooked bacon, the cook managed to send floppy, stretchy, undercooked bacon on my soggy sandwich. The bill was delivered with the food and the server was not seen again, so we were unable to get refills on our tables drinks or request a ketchup bottle that had ketchup in it. The health department sign on the window said three violations had been corrected, however you could clearly see they had not, such as the moisture trapped inside the clean stacked cups.
