I’ve been here about three times while in town. Great service. Better if you are a local or regular. It’s what you would expect from a world class Waffle House. All three times I was here, I was charged a different price for my same exact meal.

Food was pretty good. Same as always. Menu seems just a little bit different. I have ordered the exact same thing since 1993..but as always enjoyed it and love the coffee!!

This waffle house is located in Chattanooga, also known as the Hixson Community. It is located in one of the fastest growing areas in our Scenic City . The business here is always steady. They have a Fast, Friendly, Professional Staff. The customers are down to earth . No drama up in this Waffle house ! Get it ? I highly recommend their delicious waffles. These continue to be legendary across the US with no indication of slowing down. I always get a side of scrambled eggs with cheese . I have been to several waffle house restaurants. I never encountered a problem. It certainly gives new meaning to myself breakfast is the best meal of the day. They have other good food items as well. I highly recommend it 24 hrs. You need to be safe anywhere you go. Get it ? I love their delicious waffles . I love Chatt. Town Mr. C.

Worst Waffle House ever. Waitress took my order Charged me for something I told her I didn’t want. Gave me plastic flatware for dine-in. Got half the order that was cold before I got the other half. Order was wrong. Waitress went to get me a drink refill and went outside for a while before returning. Complaining about her circumstances to another customer the entire time. Won’t be back.

I would so give a negative if I could! We walked into this place for dinner on the 4th of July with a family (2 kids) us with our 11yr and a few 20-year-olds were at another table. Our waitress, along with another waitress, were yelling at each other across the restaurant because they were obviously pissed at 1 another. This continued the entire 20 minutes we thought we would stay. One of them finally gave us 1 menu when we asked for it as she huffed and continued to yell at the other older lady and complained to us about her. The manager is now in the mix doing nothing to stop it and yells right by our table I’M NOT DOING THIS I’M GOING HOME, our waitress then slams a bin of dishes down (very loudly) while yelling so we told them to cancel what we ordered and left. This was absolutely ridiculous! I’m not sure if they were pissed because they had to work the 4th of July or what, but we won’t be back!

Post COVID it’s hard to find a restaurant with quality service and food. This location has consistently provided good service by Amber, and food cooked to perfection by Tommy to my already chaotic family at midnight on multiple occasions. She even provided a bag of ice to my granddaughter when she saw her trip on the sidewalk on her way in. Good food, good people.

They greet you each time you walk in the door. The Hixson location on 153 is a good place to eat. Although they get slammed, they still take care of you. I recommend their breakfast.

I mean… It’s a typical waffle house. Nobody washes their hands properly while handling food. There’s probably a waitress with three and a half teeth that’s gonna call you “honey”. And most definitely you are bound to see a junky scurrying somewhere. This waffle is not that bad compared to others. I prefer this one.

Visited the one on 153 near Hobby Lobby about 3 months ago and could not get any service or anyone to even acknowledge my presence, so I left. I went again today and almost the same thing happened, and they were not that busy. I’ve been to Waffle Houses all over the south for many year, and something is terribly wrong at this one. Employees not happy…very obvious they do not want to be here. Sad…if it keeps up, this location will be gone.

Normally I love Waffle House. I always say it’s fast, food’s hot and every customer’s name is “baby”. Today was an off day. They had no spoons (hard to eat grits without one), my husband’s steak sandwich was not hot, and it looked like the portion of hashbrowns was half the normal order. I had poached eggs, toast and grits. The grits were not warm enough to melt butter. They were busy but that is the norm. They were off their game today from an organizational standpoint. It’s our favorite breakfast spot, so we will try again another day. The blueberry waffles are the best!
