I enjoy waffle house but a lot of the time when you try to order pickup they will lie to you, saying they are too busy when there is nobody there. The Wendy’s next to waffle house in Saraland is stealing Waffle House’s customers because they are wayyyy cheaper and quicker. I cnt understand why Waffle house would lie to keep from taking a pick up order.

My husband and I went in for a late dinner and it was the absolute worst experience we have ever had in a restaurant. They were not busy at all, but yet our server never refilled our drinks, even after we asked for refills. I put in a To go order, while we were ordering and asked her to go ahead and have it prepared. I had to wait 15 minutes after we were done eating, for her to get it together. She looked like she was high on something, and had no idea what she was doing. We will definitely be going to the other location from now on.

We went to Waffle House this morning and the waitress was great. She gave specific instructions on our food and the way we wanted it. One of our meals, by the time the cook had the sausage ready, the other food was cold. I had to send my BLT back because it wasnt done. The cook put it back on the grill instead of cooking new bacon and part was chewy and part was burned. I can understand being busy but they were fully staffed. The waitress did her job, but the cooks need to.get their acts together

This is the same Waffle House where protesters held protests because an employee called the police on a customer that experienced police brutality while she was being arrested for being irate and disturbing the peace. Thank goodness that I didn’t see nor have to deal with that employee while I was there. My order was taken quickly and we received our food order under ten minutes. I had a nice server and she even catered to my weird drink order(sprite and orange juice mixed together). I didn’t experience any racism and my food order was tasty.

Usually pretty to very good but a young crew and apparently untrained cook and lack of management. Ordered 3 eggs scrambled dry with 3 cheese got what looked like 1 cheese with the eggs bland. Management needs to be more involved and have an experienced cook on days particularly now. Andafurther note my wife is borderline with sugar issues and ordered in sweat tea. She was served sweet. Total ineffectiveness to our order.
