We dined in and Grace was our server. She was so nice and attentive. The food was great!! Prices are good as well. The place itself was a little dirty but the service was so good you could look past it. Joseph check us out and had just as great of an attitude as Grace. All the staff seemed very happy which rubbed off onto my husband and I.

I know reviews are for writing about my experience here, but I can’t because I never even had a chance to have one. Stopped in here for breakfast on Saturday morning for a good meal before going on the 9 hour drive home, and it wasn’t too busy inside, maybe 3 other tables were full. We weren’t even acknowledged at all and could hear the girls in the kitchen talking about how tired they were while they moved very slow. After about 15 minutes waiting for someone to even notice that we sat down, we decided to get up and go somewhere else instead. If we ever come back to Destin we will not be coming to this Waffle House location.

Long fake nails are not sanitary for any establishment that serves food. While the food was probably good, I couldn’t get past the fact that when the server set down my plate I could see the fake thumb nail poke into my waffle. That’s how long it was! Because of that experience it distracted me from enjoying the food, service, and atmosphere. I love waffle house but won’t be eat at this one anymore.

It was super busy here and the seating options are very limited if you do not want to sit at the bar. I personally do not enjoy sitting at the bar because I can never hear anyone. Once seated we ordered and it took 30 minutes for our food to come out. Our food came out in small groups. Three peoples food was brought out but without the bacon. Then one single slice of ham was brought out. Then two more meals came out. And finally two side orders of bacon came out as everyone was finishing their food. I ordered two chocolate chip waffles and they came out boarder line cold which was disappointing. Staff was pretty friendly but the wait was very unfortunate.

Waffle house is always good for a quick and simple solution to your hungry stomach. Breakfast is better if you must. Service crews are always pleasant.

Megan helped us today morning and she was amazing taking our order. We are on our way back home which is a 10 hour drive and we are happy to say that we loved this Waffle House!

They need to fire Amber! She was so rude when I asked her if we could sit here! We did seat ourselves! Her reply was I guess so! I need to wipe it off first! Her attitude is terrible! This is the second time we have had her! We came down in March and her attitude was bad then, so this time I had to write a review! The food was completely wrong but I’m fine with that. However being a server most of my life I would never send out food that looked burnt! It was really bad but after they fixed it the food was great! She has a very bad attitude and very passive aggressive attitude after she knew I was not happy with attitude! I’m serious when I say she needs to find a different job because clearly she does not like her job! I hate not leaving a tip but I did not, and will not be back to this Waffle House! Again I’m a huge tipper so your loss Amber! I hope you have the day you deserve!!
