I got to the restaurant and ordered two eggs over medium cooked in butter with the yellows runny and one order of bacon. The waitress was very professional and immediately called my order in. There is no food on the grill. 5 minutes later, the manager walked away from the grill into the office area for a couple of minutes, which came back and started on my order. For whatever reason, she cooks the eggs on the grill instead of the pan. The waitress brings me my eggs. One is right. The other one, the yellow, is hard, and anyone should have been able to tell that it was wrong, especially the manager, but she served it anyway.. At that time I heard the manager say is that sausage with that order, the waitress told her no it was bacon, now the manager proceeds to put bacon on the grill and the waitress tells me I’m sorry you’re not going to get to eat your eggs with your bacon. Which I had to explain to her. I did not want it. She had the manager remake my order. This time, everything came out correct and together. The waitress offered to comp my bacon, which I respectfully thanked her, but told her no I ordered it, I eat it ,I pay. The manager in no way took responsibility or apologized. There were a few customers in the restaurant. The food and the service would probably have been rated as one star, but I gave the waitress credit for her service, and the food finally turned out well. By the way,i tipped the waitress $20 on a $10 ticket because she did her job and should not be punished because the manager doesn’t do hers. These people service us night and day,with very little thanks.

Visited with my brother and sister in law. The steak was juicy and tender. The waffle was yummy and cooked to perfection. It was a very enjoyable visit. We were trying to find a place to eat on a busy Sunday morning and were able to get in and have a nice meal. It was a wonderful time. Will visit gain whem in the area.

Ordered a bacon chicken cheese deluxe plate with triple hash browns and a sausage egg cheese biscuit with the egg scrambled with the cheese. Knowing how picky my husband is I checked his biscuit and the egg wasn’t scrambled so I asked them to re cook it. When I finally got to the hotel my bacon was burnt my chicken dry and my bun charred. I ate my food but only cause I was tired and needing rest.

Had a great time , nice clean room with a large shower/bathroom, a nice community area with a fire pit, ice machine and bait and tackle store in the office. A great seafood restaurant within walking distance and best of all , we were 100′ from the dock our Capt. Brian Akins with Reel Opportunity Charters picked us up at.

We always stop by on this Waffle House for breakfast when we’re on vacation in Perry and every time is a great experience their food is perfect and the Grits were on such a phenomenal level I’ve never have had grits so good in my life highly recommend this place to everybody stopping by this area

It was raining heavily and nothing else here was open. But waffle house was!! And not just open, but welcoming open. The staff was wonderful, friendly and hard working. Chris (he said he works in the kitchen but was serving tables today) was brilliant with his service. He made fresh hot coffee for me and my friends. They also served hot and delicious sandwiches, perfect for this weather. Really enjoyed the dinner. Definitely recommend. Texas melt and chicken cheese sandwich were delicious!! Great service after such a long time! Appreciate it 🙂
