Renee was absolutely AWESOME!!! Emma and the guy cooking with her was great as well. My food was made perfectly. I am so pleased with my meal. I have been to this waffle house a few times on the odd Saturday, with friend and family. Never would I think I would have a bad experience here, as up until. Today, we had one of the worst experiences I’ve had in dining out, in that our server Betty came by initially to greet us, giving and us a ton of attitude when we asked for a menu to select to make a selection of what we would like to eat, then walked away not to not to return. Someone else actually dropped off our drink during the time we were waiting, which i believe was close to 20 minutes, all the while trying to get her attention when she would walk by. But she never did stop to take our order, so we ended up telling the lady at the register we didn’t even get to order and left. We were sorely disappointed in this, as we were looking forward to a good breakfast on our way out to run errands.

I sit between 4 waffle house’s and out of 4 only 2 haven’t let me down and this is one. Please don’t get me wrong I’ve been team Waffle house over “that huge over priced chain” and that “huddling disaster” (my opinion) for umpteen years but some of them here in Gainesville just dont….When I need breakfast after my night shift and it’s 5:30 am I can rest assured I can get a great meal from This WAFFLE House and be home before the food losses any heat. Life is good when you can get your fix after a hard night at work lol.

The blueberry waffle was a big hit at our table. We were doing the “breakfast for dinner” thing after seeing The Meg. It was late and the nice thing about Waffle House is that it’s quick and the food is always hot. I deducted one star cause I ordered the eggs in my hashbrown bowl over light, and they were scrambled. I love that liquid yolk gold goodness all mixed in with the potatoes and sausage, but I was too tired to ask them to remake it. It was still tasty, just missed my runny yolks!
