I wasn’t allowed to call the to go order in ahead of time. Instead I had to place the order at the store which wasted my time. I usually tip well on to go orders. The company’s recent policy is costing the servers some easy money. To go orders are a built in 10% mandatory tip, and all the server has to so is answer the phone.

Ordered 2 all stars with chocolate chip waffles and paid for extra chocolate chips. Not a single chocolate chip on our waffles. No butter. No jelly for the toast. They offered to give us the correct order but I didn’t want to drive 12 min back up there. So then I went to cut in to my waffle and there was this huge black thing in it. Looks like a melted chunk of grease and burnt food. So gross! Really disappointing.

I was greeted by a very friendly server named Joe (Bob) and he made me feel very comfortable at this Waffle House. And being a server many years myself, I understand what it means to give great service, he met all of my needs and I was very impressed by his friendly banter and attentiveness to my needs. He memorized my order and without writing down relayed my order unto the cook. It came out very promptly and the food was delicious. Overall, a very satisfactory experience. I will definitely be back to see him. The store was also very clean, cleanest Waffle House I’ve ever been to. Every Waffle House needs more servers like Joe.
