We sat down late and wanted food to go and after telling the young lady that we wanted our food to go, she brought it out for dine in. We then asked her again if we could get it to go and clearly it was an inconvenience. I have no issue paying extra for the convenience of take out but adding a to go service charge and a to go supply fee is absolutely ridiculous. Be careful when you order to go and make sure you check your receipts. I manage restaurants and I know bags, utensils etc. do not cost this much.

Someone told me this restaurant is a “must” visit when you are in SC. I really like the food. The quantity was small compared to other chains like this one but I think is the right amount for a healthy breakfast. The place was small but cozy. They had only one server but let me tell you she was great, she was so welcoming and patient explaining us the menu. You can see the chefs cooking your food and it look clean and organized.

My husband and I love this Waffle House. It is a top spot for a quick weekend sit down meal. It can get crowded at times but they are quick to get people in and out. The waitresses are great and always greet us when we come in to eat! Food always comes out quick and is fresh and hot. Prices are good for the food you get. The dining room is fully open and no masks are required inside.

They charge extra for take out! Myself and my friend ordered all star meals and each got an extra waffle and there was a $3.15 to go service charge as well as a $3.15 supply fee.

On our way home, my friend and I went out for breakfast at the waffle house. The location in Greenville was pretty busy. We had a nice little girl as our waitress. She came right then to get our order. I had the traditional breakfast with scrambled eggs and ham. It was really tasty and good at the same time. My friend got pork chops, eggs, and a waffle. It looked so good. She said it was also tasty. It was the first time I have seen two cooks working at the same time in a while. I know now that is the best breakfast spot on that side of Greenville. I will visit again!

Craving hash browns after the local brunch restaurants closed? That was our dilemma, so my son recommended WH. (I hadn’t been to one in several years.) He ordered the Cheesesteak Bowl, and I got the Patty Melt Bowl. Both come with cheese and grilled onions, and can be customized. As always, the food is reasonably priced and cooked to order. The staff were friendly. Restaurant is clean, for the most part.
