If I could give zero stars, I would. Came in after work with my husband (we work in food service ourselves). The tables were dirty, the waitress had to put bright pink lipstick on before she even took out order and then after ordering food and it almost being done, there was a cockroach the size of a roll of quarters crawling on the wall behind my husband’s head. We walked out without eating. Don’t eat here. Very unsanitary.

I went to place a to go order. The waitress said they weren’t taking to go orders and I asked why. She was not able to give me an answer, so she turns to what I assumed was the manager and asks him. He responds by saying he didn’t tell her that they aren’t taking to go orders. So she takes my order and when the manager goes in the back 2 more people come in to place to go orders. Guess what she told them! The food was ok, the waffle batter didn’t seem to have been mixed right as it tasted weird. Places constantly want to charge more while food quality and customer service declines.

Had to wait like 10 mins for a table to get clean, majority of the tables were dirty, then the reason why I gave it a two star is because was told they didn’t have any grits to serve with the meal. But when food was served grits magically appeared. Not like it use to be…too much personal conversations going on not paying attention to customers, burning up food…ridiculous. Prices gone up and waffles got thinner.
