Went on a Saturday; service was very good. Crew worked well together. Atmosphere was okay; there were some customers there who had finished eating and had made themselves comfortable like they were at home; so we couldn’t sit at a table which is much more accommodating for senior adults then the bar stools, but we made it work. Not the staff fault. I understand a business doesn’t want to push customers out or cause conflict. However some customers are unreasonable or just plain rude so I hope Waffle House develops and implements a strategic plan for loitering restaurant customers.

Upon walking through the doors, I was greeted by the friendly staff. The place was clean including the rest room. My order was taken quickly and the food came out fresh off the griddle. Coffee refill was completely instantly upon my request. 5/5 in terms of food, service, and atmosphere (the expectation that can be made of a Waffle House).

I had a lot to take up care of today and had a late breakfast between errands. I was so disgusted with DMV that I needed some time to quiet my spirit. I got the $11 special substituted hash browns smothered for the grits. I guess they have to keep the grits hot and ready but to see the man in the bucket of water to the Grits is kind of a taste killer. And it changes the consistency of the Grits that were made earlier. My meal was pretty good I played some music on the jukebox but these newfangled machines are difficult to maneuver Within to find your songs before I used to be able to play d122 or s53 and new with the song was. And you could flip through now everything is computerized. Blah blah blah blah blah my food chain while I was still trying to find a song. But you get four songs $4 that’s not bad. Silver Diner was another place where you can play your own music. I’m glad I stopped there because I was able to settle my brain on what else I had to do for the day.

Establishment closed at 11:28pm on a Thursday. Horrible customer experience but honestly expected due to location of restaurant. So many people pulled up hoping to dine with the restaurant but was greeted with a locked door to a 24 hr establishment.

Haven’t even gotten my food yet at 150 am but the people in here are down right amazing. It’s to go only at a walk up window at this time of night but there’s a full parking lot and a line wrapped around the building in the pouring rain. The employees are stressed, but they’re working hard and getting it done. The guy cooking hasn’t had a break from the grill in about 5 or 6 hours but he’s getting it done and holding it down. The two ladys at the window are visibly overworked and stressed out as well, but they still greet with a smile and do the best they can. My order might have been a little messed up, something didn’t get on there that was supposed to be, but the people working here are some hard working people, and I hope you all see that and treat them well. All the while the security guard, which they have for some reason, is sitting on her phone and chain smoking cigarettes outside. She probably gets paid better than the people doing the work. I just had to give these folk a commendation on their hard work, they deserve better than what they’re probably getting.

4JULY21 Back again. I love this location. The food is always PERFECT.❤️ And the service is always GREAT. ////////// The waitress was EXCEPTIONAL!!! As usual. Very attentive. She kept my glass of tea filled, a small matter that lots of waiters, and waitresses, seem to overlook. I left her a generous tip. And the food was DELICIOUS! I have always enjoyed eating at Waffle Houses all across the country and I think the crew at this Waffle House are among the best of the lot.

We’re visiting family here in VA from NYC and decided to stop here for a bite to eat with our kids. Coming into this waffle house was very unwelcoming. The table was not clean yet we still decided to give them a try. We had 5 people so we instead sat at the table top. When we moved they didnt clean the table top they were more so worried about cleaning the EMPTY TABLES, we had to ask for them to clean it. Which got us a attitude in return. The pregnant lady we were ordering our food with was being very immature. She laughed when I mentioned my father and significant other to whom she called “guy with black and white and guy with white and orange ” Due to the noticeable age difference. Which infact is very unprofessional and snarly. MY FATHER asked her to please remain professional in her work setting. She then proceeds to whom I assume is her manager who was wearing all black and box braids. I can tell they were laughing at our family WHICH IS VERY CULTURALLY INSENSITIVE MIGHT I ADD. Afterward she explained she wouldn’t be our server because the area we sat in is no longer her station. The next lady took our order AGAIN. They kept getting our order wrong and asking us what it is that we ordered. We had 3 all star meals and 2 waffle orders with 5 lemonades. They gave us our order ONE BY ONE. Instead of all at once. AND DIDNT GIVE US ANY CUTLERY. Instead gave us plastic forks. THEY forgot we ordered WAFFLES even though the waffles came with our meal. So we’re waiting for half our meal while the other half is getting cold. The lady with all black makes 5 waffles gives 3 to our family members and the other 2 to the people waiting on to go orders MEANWHILE WE’VE BEEN WAITING 20 MINS. at this point I’m agitated and never wanna come or order from a waffle house again. The experience was RIDICULOUSLY EMBARRASSING AND UNACCEPTABLE. I wi be contact corporate to further investigate thus situation.

Service was freaky bad! We were served cold coffee. The pot had been turned off. Server said he knew but served it to us anyway. Asked for well-done eggs, but they were runny. We won’t go back.
