Such a great find, with views overlooking the runway and into their hangars. Everything about the restaurant was thoughtfully designed/selected, from the interior design to the menu and to the dishware. The food was amazing as well (even their free bread to start is really good), and the service was great. Will definitely come back next time I’m around, and highly recommend if you’re ever in the area!

WACO was a halfway point to meet family for dinner. We had great meals and the atmosphere was really cool. Our server, Savanah, was excellent. She gave us great recommendations. We had 6 adults and one 5 year old. Fun watching planes coming in and out. You can also check out the planes in the garage through observation windows.

A very unique spot, as the dining room overlooks the runway at the Battle Creek Executive Airport. The atmosphere is cozy and chic, with excellent food and service. The menu changes, so be prepared to try something new when you come – but this isn’t a bad thing as I haven’t had anything I haven’t thoroughly enjoyed. Great for lunch or dinner. Don’t forget to gawk at the biplanes, as well!

Awesome experience! Delicious food, friendly staff and well designed environment. I had a salmon sandwich and it was yummy. Service was quick and exceptional. By the way there’s also a mini plane museum onsite which shares an amazing experience on its own way. I’d definitely come here again!

This place is not far from the highway, and was a really cool place to have lunch with the biplanes and Cessna airplanes around. WACO Kitchen has a small but stylish dining area set against the bar and kitchen. They have an extensive wine list, as well as 4 or 5 beers on tap, and mixed drinks. I selected the specials on offer which were a hot, Asian mushroom soup, and a “three pigs” sandwich that featured pulled pork, bacon and candied ham. Both dishes were “amazing”, and our server was personable and fun.

Last night my wife and I celebrated her Birthday at the Waco Kitchen…truly a neat, first class setting! The food was enjoyably upscale, generously portioned and creatively plated. Complementing the great food, was our Waitstaff, Ms. Riley, who was perfectly attentive at just the right time.

I ordered the roasted sweet potato dish that comes on a bed of rice with garbanzo beans and tahini. The dish tasted excellent, however, when it is advertised as “Roasted Sweet potato”, then the main ingredient should have been roasted sweet potatoes. The dish should have been called: rice, garbanzo beans, with a small topping of roasted sweet potatoes.

Food is great and the atmosphere of being at the airport is so fun. If you are lucky you might see an executive hoping out their private jet or catch a vintage plane in flight. This is an awesome place to have lunch if you get chance. Flying in or out definitely stop by.
