My experience here was pleasant. Note I went midday on a weekday. The place was clean. The cashier (Maldoo ?) was super nice and helpful. Got the Waba plate half white rice and vegetables. Garlic Serrano and spicy Waba sauce. Avocado too. Food was really good. Vegetables were a little too crispy but still tasty. Food tasted fresh as you can see it being prepared. Roughly $18

My go to similar spot is closed on Sunday’s so I decided to try out Waba Grill for the first time. I dropped $18 for a beef plate and a medium soft drink. What a waste of my money! The food was mediocre to say the least and the prices were outrageous. Mr. Teriyaki down on Katella Ave and Western Ave is by far superior to this chain restaurant. The food is super delicious, well portioned and affordable. Been going there for years. Highly recommended!

Waba is delicious! The chicken is always grade A never any fat or gristle and the rice is always perfect! Workers always keep it clean, but my only gripe is it’s a bit over priced, but staff is pretty friendly

This is one of the cleanest, best run Waba Grills I been to in ages. The food was cooked absolutely perfect. I’m a real person, I’m not getting paid for this review or my time, i just really appreciate it when a place has great good and a good environment. I ordered the brown rice chicken bowl with avocado. It came out looking like the perfect photo of it on a menu. The rice was fresh, hot not clumpy, the meat, lean and not overcooked, the veggies perfectly steamed. I had a long day, and this really was great, made me feel good, so thank you guys for putting some love into the food! I’m just trying to give some back. Thanks!
