The food was okay. The service was interesting. They do not have waiters or waitresses but instead it is takeout only, except they let you sit in the lobby. I get it, every restaurant has struggled since COVID and finding good staff to serve customers must be a nightmare. The people we did interact with were very nice.

Authentic and delicious! One of the best Thai places I’ve been to in US Generally hard to find authentic and delicious Asian food New England. A pleasant surprise! We were stopping through on our way back to Boston and came back the next day for lunch again. Pad see ew, massaman curry, drunken noodle all are great. Currently short staffed but you can eat in with takeout containers. Nice eat in place. Highly recommend

The sign says there is no table service, but you can eat takeaway in the restaurant.

Been a few years since I was in Thailand on mission work. This is the most authentic I have had here in USA. Great tasting hot curry! Keep up the good work- highly recommend

A pleasant dining experience. Although the food is served in takeout containers you can eat inside. We brought our own silverware instead of using plastic forks which made it nicer. The female staff (Ching and Jane) were very polite and helpful. The food was pretty close to being authentic but of course you’re spoiled if you’ve been to Bangkok. I had the chicken pad thai and requested that they make it less sweet, which they did. Chicken was very tender and the noodles were not overcooked. The summer rolls were good but could use a little more shrimp. Even though I think the food is a wee bit overpriced it’s a must try if ever in the area.

I got pineapple fried rice. In the picture on the website there are vegetables and cashews, but when I got my order there was nothing and they informed me the order didn’t come with vegetables. A bit disappointed and mislead. $16 for just that is way too much. Overall it was ok, kind of average food, just disappointed

You must give this place a try. We decided to check them out while in town and Vongs did not disappoint. Everything from the service to the atmosphere was great. The menu has a wide selection for anyone in your party to choose from. The restaurant was clean and seemed well kept. Portions are very generous. I will definitely be going back when I’m in town again.

We arrived and discovered that Vongs did not provide table service. So we thought, based on reviews, what could go wrong. First things, wine, 3 onzes tops, inferior red and white, horribly expensive. Starters, fair, at best, small and overpriced. House rice was salty but OK, but crispy duck was extra raw fatty and deep fried in a pastry that was totally gross that would never let duck crisp. Complete ripoff and laking any skill or pride. Chicken dish also gross. Cheapest plastic forks and knives served with horrible food and expensive base wines were really disturbing. Try to get a spoon but still same which was impossible to use. Also, server, manager and staff did not give one red cent about you. So, I was mild in review but this place sucks. Worst Thai food I’ve ever had and the folks that own this hole should be ashamed to remain open post pandemic and not have table service. Yours truely.

I feel so bad, we just bought two duck tamarine meals and it was very bad looking. It tasted terrible with this somewhat aromatic strong scent and old. It was very gamey and had so much fatty parts in it. It was served hot at least. The tamarine sauce looks thick and greasy yet it had a low viscosity. It tastes bland too. It was sour and kind of in a thick watery with brown fluid with fresh chopped veggies. It looks plastic on top because of the fatty oils. At least the veggies were fresh. I spent $40.
