This place is absolutely delicious. It is a little on the expensive side, but that is to be expected for what you get. Just the wings alone on the bar are incredible. It would make for a great date night. To be honest, I think that the Korean BBQ is a better value for the price. However, I do like the idea of us having a hot pot option in the upstate of South Carolina. Great food, great service, great time.

I love this new Korean BBQ restaurant! Out of all of the Korean BBQ restaurants that I’ve been to, this is one of the best. Considering that they offer hot pot and Korean BBQ grilling for all you can eat is amazing. The price is appropriate for the experience. We have gone twice since it opened and will be back plenty more. The staff is very friendly and makes the experience much more pleasant. We love our server Candy so much! The food is very high quality and the portions are great. They don’t overwhelm you with too much food and you can order as you go. There is a 2 hour dining limit, which is much more courteous than other places. They implement a surcharge for food waste, but you really don’t have to worry because they never give you more than is reasonable. We enjoyed the dinner much more than the lunch just due to the selection of meats. For dinner, we loved the volcano steak and the beef flap. Those two items are not available for lunch, but it’s not much of an issue because it is much cheaper at lunch compared to dinner. We tried the spicy hotpot broths and enjoyed them very much. I do recommend that the restaurant should put oil, salt, and pepper on every table.

So I never had Korean BBQ and this new place opened and I couldn’t wait. It is a little loud, but it is like family-style. They have all you can eat(for 2hrs) we had a choice between BBQ or hotpot w/veggies for extra charge you can have both. You can make your own sauce at the bar and they had spring rolls and the Korean fried wings were .It was great experience only downside is the smell left on your clothes.

My experience at Volcano Korean BBQ was really great. This was my first time at Volcano and didn’t know what to expect once I got to my table and saw heated counter tops. Then my server came over and her name was Candy. I asked what all was going on with the heated tops. Then she began to explain. Then I got the concept. She then showed me where the appetizers were and then explained everything that was going on on the table. It’s a cool concept if you want to prepare your own food. They’ll bring what you order, then you cook it. It was a little slow so she took charge and helped me out. I thought it was fun so I will be going back. Great atmosphere and spacious. And the food I ordered was seasoned well. I’ll give them .

I really liked this restaurant when you arrive they ask you if you want to eat barbecue or if you want to make the hot pot, After you choose which of the two meals you want to do, You ask for your proteins and vegetables, you cook it, They also have an area where there are sauces and vegetables to season and usually have chicken wings that are Spectacular, French fries and some dessert.the atmosphere is very nice, the service is also nice. the bathrooms very clean

The service was quick, friendly and helpful. You order either hot pot or Korean BBQ or both with additional fee. There are plenty of options but the top options were the ribeye and pork belly along with the octopus. The vegetable options are plentiful and go for the pumpkin and onions for the grill and the lettuce for the Korean BBQ. There is a sauce bar with fried chicken wings, spring rolls, French fries, sliced fruit and sauce options. I recommend making a dipping sauce to dip your Korean BBQ in. Will definitely be back

First time coming here, and it was great! The wait was an hour and a half, but we expected that because it’s still new. We had the BBQ and HOT POT. Both were delicious! They explained everything to us, and we loved that we each had our own hot pot. Plus, there’s a little bar with different sauces you can try. We went with my sister’s family and all of us had a great time! It was a great experience, and we’re planning on going back!

A new experience for sure I’ve never cooked my own food before at a restaurant. I chose the BBQ option and got filled up real quick on the octopus. 10/10 for atmosphere as well, just an amazing experience overall.

Interesting mix of tasty foods. Loved the spicy pork bulgogi and that garlic shrimp. Please sauce those oyster mushrooms before the grill because they are delicious. A must to do with a group or that special someone.

This place is Not kid friendly and there are far Better Korean hotpot/barbecue establishments than this place. My children are picky eaters but we came here to take a family member out who wanted to try this place. I misunderstood the waiter when he said they would be charged for the bar food as the same price as if they were eating an actual hot pot/ bbq dinner. I thought he was was saying they would be charged the same price even if they had one thing from our hot pots. I thought he explained we could order separate food from their bar. My kids had a total of four spring rolls (which they did not finish because they were cold) and old French fries. Their “all you can eat food bar” consisted of only four things and condiments spring rolls, chicken wings, French fries and these little cakes. None of them were fresh. I wish I had a picture of it. So when the bill came I was confused seeing the dinner charge for my kids on there. When we spoke to the manager to explain the misunderstanding he basically said it didn’t matter if they had one thing on there or not they would be charged. Also stated how he had to charge a full meal before for a kid just eating orange slices on the bar, as if that was suppose to make our situation sound any better. All it did was explain customer service is not his specialty. Although I gave service a one star, Our server was friendly no complaints about him. But service comes from the entire restaurant including the manager. Hopefully other customers learn this before hand. Food quality is poor that’s probably why they nickel and dime every piece of food item, even food that is left uneaten. Which is also another charge so buyers be aware of that as well.
