The Vocelli Story begins in a mining town in Zonguldak, Turkey where Varol Ablak was born. His father was a mining engineer so Varol’s childhood was spent moving from one mining town to another as his dad followed the work.
This journey took them from Turkey to Essen, Germany and then on to Lynn Lake, Canada in northern Manitoba. When Varol was 8 years old, the Ablak family came to the United States in 1969 to St Paul, Virginia. The moving continued to mining towns in West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky and eventually settling in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

For the first time I had a Vocelli Pizza delivered to me. I give it a meh. Don’t order extra toppings unless you’re prepared to be underwhelmed. For what I paid per topping I couldn’t believe the few slices of green pepper that I paid over $2 for. How much does a wholesale pepper cost for it to be so skimpy. The same goes for pepperoni. There may have been one piece per slice. I ordered extra cheese which was good because I wonder how little I would have gotten. I couldn’t even taste any sauce either. The crust tasted fine but they pulled a bad trick by having over an inch thick on the edges. So over all, there will not be any Vocelli any kind of food in my future. What a rip off

My wife just tried to use a coupon that was mailed to our home. The coupon specifically listed this location, but when my wife attempted to use it, the manager repeatedly told her she could not. First, she couldn’t use it because it was for “a different location”…but the coupon specified this location. Second, she couldn’t use it because it was “for online use only”…but the coupon only says to present it at time of payment. Third, she couldn’t use it because “she had to tell him about it when she called to place the order”…but the coupon says “at time of payment.” And is he going to make the pizza smaller if he knows we have a coupon??

Went in for a slice of pie today. They dont do pizza by the slice appatently, ok no worries. I figured i’d still order even though they didnt have what i wanted. Maybe i’d stumble upon a hidden gem so i ordered the meatball sub. I didn’t. The meatballs were cold. 12 dollars for a cold meatball sub and i didnt even get a drink to wash it down. Wont be going back. Also they were argumentative when i tried to grab the soda that my “lunch deal” uncluded. Instead of being defensive like i was trying to steal from you, maybe you could have explained that the lunch deal ended for the day. Brilliant customer service when one of you walked away and the other just stood there.

I made a 40.00 take out order delivered to a local elementary school. The Spaghetti with extra meatballs was unreconizable when looking at the side by side photos below. The sauce was horrible, like pure tomato paste, no seasoning. It was thick , pasty and bitter! I called to see if they would refund the order and he started yelling at me. He said nobody else had a problem with his food & he couldn’t help me. No refund or credit!Terrible food & Terrible service. Go to Johhnies Pizza near Shoppers to get real Italian food , and great service too. Skip Vocelli at Rosehill.

Their pizza is consistently delicious and far better than the other guys, like Domino’s with their too-salty food. We’ve never had a less than excellent experience with this store. Just finished another pizza and enjoying the afterglow.

We ordered a pizza and wings and tried to tip online but somehow the tip didn’t go through. We received a call from the manager belligerently demanding that we give the driver a tip in cash or he would cancel our order. He did not stop talking long enough for us to even look up the order to see that the tip didn’t go through. Rather than listening he made threats and when we called to complain (discovering he was the manager) he didn’t care or apologize. And on top of it our pizza was 10 minutes late. We will not be ordering from Vocelli’s again.

Placed my order for delivery. Immediately got a call from Nasir Joon saying no driver was going to deliver it cause it wasn’t enough of a tip. Was told I can come pick it up myself.

I used to love their quattro pizza, it was delicious. Idk if they changed their recipe or a new chef, but I just ordered it and it was disgusting! It didn’t even have the soft cheese on top. I also ordered spaghetti and meatballs for my daughter and the meatballs were gray, the sauce was bland and the garlic bread SOOO salty. Neither me nor my daughter could eat it. I will NEVER order from here again. Such a disappointment. I also called to tell them and they werent hearing it and tried to make me pay for a new pizza. Then they hung up on me. Worst customer service

I’m only giving 1 star because I have too. I placed an order online. They charged my card then I get a phone call to tell me the order is canceled because the prices online are not correct and I didn’t leave a big enough tip. Sorry but I don’t if the food is good or not that just lost my business for good.
