Head the steak with chimichurri. The food is phenomenal. Very limited English, so be prepared if you don’t speak Spanish.

All around neutral about my experience with this restaurant. Im happy to see that business is supported by the local Central American community, but the atmosphere isn’t very welcoming to outsiders. First experience with Nicaraguan food and I’m not sure if the food is mediocre or I’m terrible at ordering.

The waitresses need to be more attentive with their customers. They waitress was very forgetful and made us wait along time for our food . When i got my food my gallo pinto was cold. So i ask if they could fix that problem and they took another 10 to 15 minutes to bring it back out.

It’s my favorite place to eat Nicaraguan food in New Orleans.

I don’t know how this food is supposed to taste compared to most other restaurants, but I am sold. I’m not Hispanic (despite the name). My son and I went here on a whim instead of Applebee’s. So glad we did. IT IS NOT MEXICAN. It is better. Most items looked hand made and time consuming to prepare. The rice and beans, which I don’t normally like in Mexican restaurants, was absolutely amazing here. I have never had anything like it. They also have a sour cream, that I have come to learn is unique in other-than-Mexican restaurants. It’s home made and AMAZING. The pork chops here are also a meal I will come back again and again for. So tender and flavorful that My son and I were both amazed at how they came out. We actually ordered another pork chop set to go and watched them make it. If you have been to any Latin American restaurant this is how they all are. More of a home cooked small atmosphere where it’s like coming into their house. Just walk in and sit down like you belong, and they will react like that’s how it is.
