Loved everything about this cozy little spot. We tried their agua frescos at Middletown’s July 4 event & sought them out for more mango agua frescos. The menu is traditional so we tried a little of everything. The chicken empanadas are amazing. Tender chicken and light and fluffy dough. My dinner mate loved the birria tacos. The tostada & tacos were both delicious. Cozy place that feels like someone’s home like so many of the places we’ve been in Mexico. Def will be back.

The place was clean and smelled good. It was empty when I arrived. The service was good and the food was tasty. Out of all the items, the biria tacos were the best. The flautas could have been better. I would not consider this a full Mexican restaurant. it is more like a taqueria based on the food items in the menu.

We stopped here for a quick early dinner on our drive from NYC to Boston. It was super super good. Excellent Mexican food. They specialize in Birria but also omg the carnitas is so good! The other reviews suggested tacos and they were delicious. They also sweetly made a small kids quesadilla with cheese and chicken for my toddler and she loved it! Highly recommend for a pit stop along 84 since it’s right off the highway and parking is really easy!

We ordered horchata, birria fries, and a torta milanesa. Horchata was delicious and perfectly sweet. Birria fries were good, but could be better with the cheese melted on top. The texture of chicken in the torta was terrible, the bread was way too soft, and it was missing key items required for a torta – nearly not enough Oaxaca cheese. I’m sure they’re just getting started and I hope they keep improving.

My wife and I found our new spot. I come from a mexican family and have eaten mexican good all my life. This place is the closest to grandmas cooking. If you know what I mean. Authentic and the set up here makes it feel like your in the kitchen of your own home. The service is great also.

Their food is great but their AIR CONDITIONER NEVER WORKS!!!!!! the hostess always has an attitude for some reason even if you smile at her. The waitresses gossip with the hostess and it’s really uncomfortable. This place use to be a lot better.

Stumbled upon this place on a road trip and I’m so glad I did! Had the nachos and my fiancé had the birria tacos. We were both so impressed with the taste of the food! They also had the best Mexican rice I’ve had in a very long time! It was so good we stopped by again two days later! We had the birria tacos again (they were THAT good!) and the green enchiladas. It’s been a week and we’re still talking about the food! Highly recommend!

Check your credit card statement. This place will fraudulently bill you for extra tip. Food was good, but I won’t go back. Not worth the headache and wasted time & phone calls dealing with the fraud.

It’s a little hard to find because the signage isn’t super obvious. It looks like a house with the banner out front being dark/ hard to see at night. The food was amazing though so I recommend checking t out. I got the birria tacos and the person inws with got the birria burrito. They were quite possibly the best tacos I’ve ever had in my entire life. I would recommend ordering takeout though since that seemed to be a better set-up than dining in. It was a great dine in experience but it feels more like a take out place than a sit down place. 10/10 recommend
