I took my mother and father to Vinny’s Taste of Italy for the first time last Saturday evening, but it definitely won’t be the last time. We had a unique and pleasurable dining experience. We were welcomed as soon as we walked into the restaurant. It feels more like going home than a restaurant. The food was incredible, and the owners were so down to earth. I’ve never had such wonderful service and hospitality. We had several dishes of pasta and dessert as well. Everything is fresh and delicious. It feels and smells like you’re in Sicily with family.

Oh em gee! My husband and I came here for the first time during my birthday weekend, and it was the BEST restaurant experience I’ve ever had in my life! I can’t say enough good things! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxing, the service was so personal and absolutely amazing! We’ve been to so many restaurants that were given all this hype that disappointed us, but this totally lived up to the hype. We were so impressed. I can’t recommend this enough! We can’t wait to come back. Thank you so much for the amazing service and food.

I came 40 minutes to try some authentic food. I got looked at crazy when I walked in. A chalk board said reservation only at the entrance. Then he wants to joke like hes not being rude. Only 2 couples inside the place… So he lost business that won’t ever return. Why not post this information somewhere on here on Google instead of ruining someone’s evening.

A book cannot be judged by its cover. This exquisite restaurant is of the beaten path and the exterior borders on the neglected and run down. However, the moment you walk inside you are transported to Lil’ Italy.

From the greeting at the door to the paying the bill, our experience was nothing short of outstanding. Freda was quite the hostess educating us on all the amazing dinner entrees and making suggestions. The ceasar salad was the best I have ever had. My husband had Lasagna and it was out of this world. True authentic Italian food by authentic incredible people. Thank you! We will return again and again!

Four of us had dinner Saturday evening. All the dishes were superb & the service was outstanding. Cindy was wonderful & Vinny entertained us with some magic… It is well worth the drive. No more driving to Charlotte for great Italian food. We can’t wait to return!

Talk about real authentic delicious Italian food! First off, Vinny is amazing and so nice. A true Italian man. The menu has lots of options and house made. The salmon and broccoli were perfect. The bolognese with ravioli was just delicious. He had made the bolognese earlier that day. So fresh. The ravioli was also made in house. This is definitely a must go! We will be coming back here.
