I was in Asheville and looking for Italian food. All the ratings say Vinnie’s is the best. It was 4:15, and as luck would have it, Vinnie’s opens at 4:30. If you NEED to eat, get there early. There will be a line when they open.

I can honestly say, this is a five-star place! We have been to the location in Asheville several times and this was the first time at the Hendersonville location. This exceeded our expectations. The Chicken Piccata was amazing. The chicken was so tender! You could cut it with a fork. The spinach and asparagus were prepared perfectly. I ate every bite and would have eaten more! The portions were hearty. Paired with a glass of red wine, the best! Finally, the cannoli was wonderful! You can only eat one. The service was great and the staff was very friendly. I highly recommend Vinnie’s. Everyone in our party was very happy with their meal. Pictures also include: Garlic Knots, Lobster Ravioli and Penne al Funghi.

Delicious Italian food and the way servers treat you. The restaurant in the north side was packed and now I know why but this one was able to accommodate us for a family of 5. Food was delicious. The sauces and the dessert makes me want to come back to Asheville just to come to the restaurant. Our servers were very nice and kind.

First time visit to this restaurant for my birthday dinner. The service was fast and staff was great! Chich was our waiter and he was great! Super friendly, made awesome recommendations, and ensured everything was perfect! Best waiter service we’ve had in while! We tried the Eggplant Parm & Lasagna and both were delicious! Would recommend and will definitely come back!

Skip the Greek salad, not worth it. Kids Fett Alfredo was pretty small. Vodka sauce was great. 1 pasta was over cooked, out of 5 people. Eggplant Parm was big and good. Garlic knots, cheese sticks and calamari were good.

First time visiting. Meatball appetizer was delicious but they were just warm and sauce was room temperature. Staff did adjust for them. Main course was okay. If you like a sweeter sauce this is not the place. Ambiance was great and server was excellent.

A family run place, this is a unique and fun experience! Josh was a terrific waiter. I have not had a Pesto Gnocchi as excellent since Pisa summer 1991. We celebrated a dual Birthday, and we are glad we had Josh to make it a memorable night
