One of the best hometown restaurants in Arlington! Walked in with a large take out order(7 people) and they whipped it out in about 30 minutes. Everything was hot and perfectly cooked. I was stuffed and excited for leftovers. Will be coming back for more

The burgers were good, only thing wrong was the bacon on the dbl stack was not cooked well very floppy, french fries were disappointing, they were just the frozen crinkle cut fries, I was expecting fresh cut fries. The sautéed mushrooms were great & the fried pies were really good. Service was a sweet young lady who was knowledgeable & efficient. For the most part everything was really good, just a couple of improvements needed.

Chicken tenders was good, fries were just frozen crinkle fries they were decent but not fresh cut or even hot and zero seasoning or even salt just very bland. Fried geeen tomatoes were literally just the batter, fried batter with a tiny tiny tomatos that were so overcooked and hard you couldn’t tell they were even there in most of them so you are really ordering fried batter. Rolls were good but this place acts like they are gold you only get one per person in your party and with an extended wait on food you would think they would bring a few more. Service was mediocre.

About half of the items we tried were excellent, but the food overall was very good. The service was also wonderful, we were a little early but the host kept us updated of our table every few minutes. The rest of the wait staff was also very friendly and helpful. Would absolutely eat here again.

Seevice was VERY good! My seafood was really good. My husband’s steak, however was awful. It was cooked just the way he likes it, the seasoning was great, , , , BUT , , , it was mostly FAT. Maybe 5 or 6 bites of actual steak. Very disappointing.

We are not from the area and we were looking for a place to sit down and eat at outside of Memphis. We read the reviews for this place and decided to give it a try. On a Saturday evening there was only a 20 minute wait. I will say that on their porch was a small swarm of Bumblebees flying around. However, the atmosphere inside was quaint & rustic. All of the staff was nice & helpful. Their menu had a variety of options and prices. My shrimp on my poboy was bland but cooked decent. My wife loved her BLT with the fried green tomato. And the fried pies were good.

We waited 2 hrs for our food and some of it came out cold. We kept asking our waitress about it and all she would say is they haven’t called her about it yet. Manager said our ticket had been rolled over that’s why it took so long. Then only took a little off for food being cold. Couple that came in an hour after we’re did got there food 5 minutes after we did. Food was not good. We will NOT be back. I was sooooo disappointed!

So good! I got the flat iron with Mac and cheese and a baked potato —- and yes I’m still thinking about it to this day.

The steak had some fat and grissel on it but the taste was delicious. The mac and cheese was bland, the fried okra was good. My ice tea was warm, not enough ice in it. The rolls were very good but the butter too hard to spread.

I didn’t take pictures, sorry, next time for sure! Been here twice recently. Good burger, great catfish, and outstanding tea! Everything is good! Service is good as well. I really like like their cornbread rolls. Now as a Southern man, I really do not like “sweet” cornbread, it’s just not Cherokee or Southern, but theirs is fan-flipping-tastic! Definitely come in and give them a try! Tell them Chef Michael sent you!
