I’m an advisor at Tesla down the street from Vine Burger and the owner James came in and told us about the restaurant. Came in today and had a phenomenal experience. Staff was amazing. Fresh ingredients. Burger cooked to perfection. Price was very reasonable compared to most burger places in Santa Rosa. Overall 5 stars for vine burger. Perfect spot for a lunch. Thanks again James! Great gem of a place! I found them because I needed a burger patty made from real veggies and this place is AHMAzing! We’ve done take out, dine in, and delivery for both lunch and dinner. I like the chipotle bbq sauce with it (there are many different sauce options) and a side salad. Love the wine parings and little card that tells about the wine you order (a little light on the pour but coulda been an off day). Most recently, we were there around the 1yr anniversary and they served a complimentary glass of champagne 🙂 Always delicious!

Along the way into San Francisco, we stopped at the most hospitable burger place called Vine Burgers. You order casually at the counter, but then they seat you at tables with cloth napkins and glass cups. They check on you and refill your drinks. It was something else! They figured out a way to make a burger spot feel like a winery. I got the veggie burger and loved it. They say “Chef recommends…” and talk to you like family. The sauces had to be made in-house because they were unique in flavor and texture. Their soda machine had specialized sodas, too. I highly recommend!

We were so excited to try something new, but unfortunately everything about our to-go dinner was severely disappointing. They were not incredibly busy, but it took fairy long for our food to be ready. Our Caesar salads were small and very plain. Our asparagus was floppy, thrown into the box, and costs an alarming $7 for just 5 stalks. The caprese skewers were nothing special. And, the “kid’s meal” chicken sandwich that came with fries was simply a buttered bun with overly-salted chicken in between it (no pickle, tomato, lettuce — Nothing). I ended up cooking my daughter dinner anyways because her “kid’s meal” had zero vegetables and I was really uncomfortable with her eating all the salt that her piece of chicken had. ~$80 later and… well, we felt like we got took. Two stars because I always feel bad giving places one star.

Take Back Roads
Very good burgers that are well made from quality ingredients. The meat had good flavor and both were cooked perfectly as ordered. The bacon was thick cut and tasty. The fries were crispy and had the right amount of salt. I even really enjoyed the Boylan sodas, and my wife and I both tried different mixes of the various options. Fast and friendly service and very attentive staff! Overall, we were satisfied and will definitely be back again for more.

Amazing burgers/sandwiches! Beef is not the primary option and I love it. The lamb burger is my favorite, the real hamburger(pork) is my wife’s favorite. The burgers are best as the chef recommended in my opinion but there are definitely options for variety. The street corn and fried pickles with peppers are our favorite sides. Happy to support this local business using local products, you can taste the freshness!

I really wanted to like this place. I read good reviews and always want to support the local guy over the chain joints. We usually go to 5 Guys (consistently excellent) but decided to try this place in hopes of finding a new favorite local burger joint.
