This place is a close second in my book to the root beer stand I have in my home town over a hour away. We got a little of everything their. We decided to get mini tacos which were the bomb!! We got 4 chilli cheese dogs and they had a pretty good taste to them as well. The little one has chicken strips and it came with fries and she loved it, I took a few bites myself and it was pretty good the chicken and fries were both very crispy. We got waffle fries as well and they are always amazing if the place doesn’t mess it up, this place didn’t disappoint on that either! Tone of overflow parking after you order. I practiced some etiquette and parked over there after I ordered so they could keep the flow moving which they seemed well at doing as well

I love Vince’s, and I love Reubens, but I was so bummed with this one. The meat was all fat and gristle. I couldn’t even finish it. The onion rings were delicious though, and the mushrooms, as always. I literally love everything else on the menu. I definitely don’t recommend the Reuben though.

Stopped at Vince’s for the first time today. Solid old school diner cheese burger with fresh lettuce, onion, tomato. The chili dogs a good. The chili sauce is very sweet. They also have homemade root beer. Good stuff.

I like this place because of the friendly and fast service, the good prices and the chili dogs. I’ve had a lot of coney dogs / chili dogs and they all taste similar. Kind of beefy tasting, and that’s not a bad thing. Vince’s chili dogs on the other hand have a strong tomato taste with a slight sweetness to it. There is some heat to the chili, not too much, maybe black pepper or some chili powder. It’s different and that is why I like it. The prices are very reasonable, $2.00 for a chili dog or a $1.00 for a chili burger! And the root beer is very good, I get a strong vanilla flavor from it. The pictures really don’t do justice to the food, it tastes much better than it looks. For me this is a good place to go for a quick & cheap lunch or when I get that taste for a chili dog.

The food was ok, but I definitely wouldn’t come back again and I personally wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anybody. The burger patty was bland and super greasy. They put a lot of onion on their burgers, so if you don’t like onion that much, ask for light or no onion. The homemade root beer tasted like it was full of artificial vanilla. Some people may find this ok, but it made my stomach hurt and made my husband almost puke. The chili cheese fries were the worst part. The chili was bland for the most part. The only strong flavor it had was a super sweet ketchup flavor. This seems to be a common complaint about their chili. The good parts about this place are that the food comes out fast and that the place looked decently clean on the outside (not sure about the inside).

Food is always hot, fresh, and great. They make their own root beer and chili. Wait staff are friendly and accommodating. You can eat by the river or in your car, whichever you prefer. Love this place, I’ve been coming here since I was a kid.

We walked over to the store and sat in the picnic area they maintain. The tables were very well maintained and clean, and we were greeted right away. Food came out quickly and was exactly what we expected (delicious!). Vince’s continues to be one of our favorite spots when we’re out on walks.

A rare treat that you get to fine dine with the backdrop of the majestic River Raisin in your view but that’s what you get here. The wait staff is always so friendly and smiling even after they go inside and you can’t see them! A true dedication!
