The year was 1904 and the place was New York’s Little Italy. Giuseppe and Carmela Siano emigrated from Italy with hopes of creating a better life for their son Vincent.
With a love and desire to share their knowledge of how to prepare and serve the food they missed from back home, they began selling seafood from a pushcart on the corners of Mott and Hester Streets in New York City.
People began coming from near and far to sample their calamari, scungilli, shrimps, mussels and clams; all prepared with their soon to be World Famous Mild, Medium, and Hot Sauces. Because of the overwhelming success of their business, they decided to move into the storefront on that same corner naming their new restaurant after their son.

It’s been a long time since I’ve felt a vibe like that!! What a greeting! Made you feel right at home. Friendly atmosphere, the service was impeccable and the food was absolutely delish!!! Shrimp scampi, linguine with clam sauce, fantastic appetizers and don’t forget to try the watermelon margarita and the chocolate mousse for dessert. Food was amazing!!! Very crowded. The hostess said it was a 45 minute wait but only ended up being about 20 minutes. Our server was great as well as the other servers that chipped in when ours were busy. The money bags were soooo good, the lobster ravioli was good, just wished it came with more, the drinks were amazing. Everyone was friendly and nice. They have a great lunch menu which I can’t wait to try soon. I’m also having my party catered by them.

Very busy place. Need have reservations before or wait about 1 hour minimum. So many tables inside and they Very tiny, very hard moves around, people inside are pushing to get through it is especially impossible, the waiters trying avoid. So anyway food: very oily and heavy. I’m not Italian woman,so my stomach not get used to for food like that. Even vegetables cooked with a lot of oil. So anyway, people there was nice. Everything cooked very fast,and not really pricey.

I recently went to Vincent’s with a few of my girlfriends. I haven’t been to dine in since covid hit. We had a great time. Even though the place was packed, the service, food, and drinks were good. If you go, I recommend that you make a reservation.

First off, they were able to accommodate a party of 20 people on a Saturday night. In addition to the great service was our very special waiter Rob. He absolutely made us feel like VIP patrons. And the manager Danny was very appreciative to here that Rob and the rest of the staff was so attentive that we all were commenting on how great the service is. I highly recommend Vincent’s Clam Bar. And yes the food was very good. The spicy calamari was delicious.

Great food for affordable prices. Super crowded, not too much space between tables, definitely not a spot for romantic dinner, very loud. Waiter got our orders mixed up and the owner I think he’s name is Bob was kinda rude with attitude but other than that go there for the food.
